Arizona, about a 2 hour drive south of las vegas. According to the kingman daily newspaper you are looking at their website a Police Officer has been shot, is in serious but stable condition at kingman Regional Medical center. We understand the Police Officer was trying to serve a search warrant in the 1700 block of miami avenue. If you know that area, a shootout ensued between the officer and the resident at the house. The resident was shot and killed. We have a c later in this newscast and on news 3 live at three. Kyndell at least one person is dead and dozens others injured after a train crashed into a commuter station in hoboken new jersey. Dana we had this as breaking news around 6 00 this morning. This was at the height of rush hour. Chris pollone has more from the scene. Reporter a devastating scene in new jerseys hoboken train station just outside of into the station. It happened quickly and without warning. Passengers on the train thrown wildly. Up to 100 people injured. Stunned passengers staggered out. The people in front of me were badly injured and we heard people screaming they were trapped. Reporter many passengers were able to make it out of the train to safety. I thought people would be pinned where we were but we were able to kind of climb over seats and get out the window. Reporter according to witnesses, the train carrying about 250 passengers failed to terminal. It came in at a high rate of speed, went through the bumper block, through the air, took the ceiling out. It was just horrific. Reporter the station one of the busiest in the new york city area is used by thousands of commuters who travel back and forth daily from new jersey to new york city.
