Investigators in Contra Costa County are looking for the cause of the fire that destroyed a home, fire crews were called to the house on beach drive and baypoint shortly after 10 00 last night. Firefighters say when they arrived, put flames were shooting at the windows as you can see here, a small home is considered a total loss. Nobody was hurt but a dog inside the house had burns to his paws, but is expected to be okay. Fire crews in oakland worked to control a threealarm fire last night, the flames broke out just before 11 00 at a building on walnut street between mason and seminary. The chief says the fire spread to three or four buildings. Crews battled the fastmoving fire all night and spent today looking out for hot spots. A church, realty office, and a warehouse area or just some of the business is damaged, crews say one nearby apartment complex was evacuated and residents in and other another were told to shelter in place. There have been no injuries reported and the cause of this fire is still under investigation. Number of people displaced from a fivealarm fire in San Francisco yesterday is now up to 58. Thats the number of people registered with the red cross as of 10 00 this morning. Fire started midafternoon in the 3300 block of Mission Street after at a hardware store. Fire crews got it under control by about 6 30 but i learned burned at least six below two people were treated for smoke inhalation. The red cross set up a shelter, the Salvation ArmyCommunity Center on valencia street, investigators are trying to determine the cause of this fire. A lifeguard in santa cruz reported seeing a shark of coral beach last night. The Fire Department which oversees the beach lifeguards says the shock was about 250 yards out into the water and was near was called lifeguard tower one. The lifeguard told fire crews he saw the sharks had come out of the water once and then saw the sharks tail. That heat wave hitting portions of the southwest and plains has now turned deadly. A 25yearold phoenix man died yesterday of heat exposure while hiking. Firefighters in north phoenix rescued a 28yearold woman who became unresponsive while mountain biking. Tens of thousands of people are attending a vigil in orlando this evening, for the victims of the pulse nightclub shooting. Organizers called it a gathering of friends on the shores of the lake. The event began with a small group of people on facebook but organizers are estimating as many as 50,000 actually showed up. Earlier as the vigil began, a rainbow appeared over the lake.
