A nineyearold girl from the bay area remains in Critical Condition after a freak accident in a Swimming Pool that killed her father. I think our chances of seeing an el nino again next year are slim to none. The chances of a la nina are pretty good. If you are traveling nationwide tomorrow, here is what youve got. Protesters and witnesses have argued that clark was handcuffed and on the ground when he was shot. The mayor asked for calm in the wake of todays decision. He jumps the pharmacy counter, shows the technician a knife and got away with it with about 3200 xanax and hydrocodone pills. President obama commuted the prison sentences of 61 drug offenders today. More than one third of those offenders are serving life sentences for nonviolent drug crimes. Most of the 61 inmates will be released by the end of july. The move brings the total number of inmates with shortened sentences to 68. President obama has been calling for an overhaul of the system arguing that some mandatory sentencing laws go too far. Its unclear if catfish had tags or a microchip. The dog also wasnt on a leash expect the dog was Walking Around freely. Reporter i asked if it was possible that the man in the video simply thought catfish was a loose dog but they say he never approached the store clerks and no one has called in to report a stolen dog missing dog. A new state audit suggests that the university of california is viewing lower standards for outofstate applicants because they pay out ofstate tuition. The number of outofstate students accepted has jumped by 18,000 in the past five years, an increase of 82 . Outofstate students pay about three times more than those who live here in california. I know that they have a cap on outofstate students, how many they can accept and all the outofstate students i met, i feel like its harder for them to get him. The university responded to the auditors report by pointing out that the acceptance right of instate applicants is higher than those who apply from other states. A confirmed case of the measles has put an entire region north of sacramento on high alert. A student at a Charter School in Nevada County contracted the disease putting other unvaccinated students at risk. More than half the students at that school or not vaccinated which led the school to cancel classes for a week. Measles is highly contagious and Nevada County has one of the highest rates of unvaccinated students in the state. Im scared. The bill of rights also states shelters have to wait 72 hours before transferring or adopting pets, which gives owners time to claim their pets if they get lost or loose from homes.
