He jumps the pharmacy counter, shows the technician a knife and got away with it with about 3200 xanax and hydrocodone pills. President obama commuted the prison sentences of 61 drug offenders today. More than one third of those offenders are serving life sentences for nonviolent drug crimes. Most of the 61 inmates will be released by the end of july. The move brings the total number of inmates with shortened sentences to 68. President obama has been calling for an overhaul of the system arguing that some mandatory sentencing laws go too far. The owner was in the store and turned around and all of a sudden his dog was gone and he couldnt find his dog named catfish. Reporter this is catfish. He is five years old. Have to [laughter] and hospital half chihuahua and half poodle. They were able to pull some Surveillance Video and found a suspect had stolen the dog and walked out with him. Reporter here is a picture. He was wearing a red shirt and camouflage tight pants. He was last seen with the dog in his hands. Technically, the dog was not allowed in the store. Its unclear if catfish had tags or a microchip. The dog also wasnt on a leash expect the dog was Walking Around freely. Reporter i asked if it was possible that the man in the video simply thought catfish was a loose dog but they say he never approached the store clerks and no one has called in to report a stolen dog missing dog. For the owner, this is an emotional loss expect pets are often your best friend, companion.
