Reporter Vallejo Police said they were forced to open fire on a man that had a knife but the family of the man said he was needlessly killed. Family members said angel ramos was coming to the help of his brother during a fight. The same people that are supposed to protect us are killing us, they could have tased him. It was a big fight but not needed to get shot. Reporter it happened after a large house party. People were fighting and a woman yelled for help. Police said they found ramos armed with a knife, fighting with a 16 year old boy. Authorities said an officer tried to tase the 16 year old but only one of the two taser prongs hit him. Police said thats when ramos pounced on the teen and an Police Officer shot ramos. He died at the scene. The 16 year old suffered minor injuries. The cops shot my son. Reporter some say that ramos was not armed with a knife. The 16 year old looked like a grown man. He was a big boy. Reporter police said that the people at the house were intoxicated. People do not make good decisions when they are drunk, nobody joins the police to use lethal force but its part of their job. It was quiet coming down but when it crashed the cars, it made a huge noise. This woman was checking out her car. I can get another car as long as nobody got hurt.
