They said that the woman was being attacked inside her apartment early this morning when a neighbor heard her screams calling 911. Police say she was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries to her face, that she is expected to be okay. She was yelling help, get off me. Reporter a woman screams for help, pierces through the walls of her home 4 00 a. M. Friday catching the attention of navy base. Someone who heard those screams called police. And when officers arrived on scene, they too e they too heard the woman in need. Reporter the alleged burglar snuck out through a window in the lockwood garden housing projects. The man physically assaulted the woman and attempted to sexually assault her. When officers arrived the 26 yearold suspect broke a bedroom window and jumped out, but didnt get far. It appears that he knew that officers were surrounding the residence, and he wanted to make a quick exit. And that is when i see the guy try to run out of the ladys house and the police came from right here and through here and they bum rushed him right there. Reporter the victim in her 40s lives alone and keeps to herself. She walks and listens to her church music and you know that she is coming because she is singing out loud and she doesnt care who is listening. And that is life that i dont understand why somebody would do that to her. Reporter neighbors are grateful than arrest was made, an arrest that police are crediting to the Good Samaritans who notified them. A citizen heard something out of the normal and actually took action. And that right there together along with Law Enforcement helped stop this crime. Reporter i did track down that Good Samaritan who called 911. She did not want to speak to us on camera, but said that she did what anyone would do in that situation. Frank . Good for her. A San Francisco tech executive was sentenced today to a year in jail stemming from an attack on his exgirlfriend back in 2013. 34yearold was on probation after pleading guilty to two misdemeanors in the case. In 2014 tercheria was arrested again for allegedly attacking another woman that he was dating. Prosecutors say that the new allegations have amount today a violation of his probation leading to todays sentencing. That second alleged victim returned to south korea and has reportedly not cooperated with prosecutors. We are going to file a notice of extremely excellent constitutional issues. I dont think that it is appropriate for somebody to have their liberty taken away and a witness never show up in the courtroom. It doesnt seem right. Reporter and the judge today, they issued a stay saying he does not need to serve time until after that appeal is filed. He made 300 million while still in his 20s when he sold his start up. In San Francisco, police are making a new push to find the gunman responsible for an unsolved killing. It happened 10 years ago this weekend and every year the victims mother would return to the spot where her teenage son was gunned down. This case is still unsolved. But police hope that someone with a conscious and perhaps motivated by that reward would lead them to the killers. Last week a judge ruled that iris canada needed to leave her unit more than 40 years ago. The owner wants to finish the conversion to tenants and common units. She was 86 years old at time when the conversion started. It meant that she owned that unit. Making 700 a month until her death and that the property would go back to the owner as her family says that the deal is being broken. Someone should be in handcuffs because of what is being used over and over. And if they are not protected by the constitution, by the law that will protect their elderly in the city and county of San Francisco, then who is helping her . Reporter the Property Owners would issue a statement calling the allegations of abuse ridiculous and that they are going to say that she has not livid at 670 paige street since 2012. Now to oakley where reports of a very close call between a school bus and a train would have some parents on edge. Tom vacar tells us that the bus was full of students when it happened. The bus driver drove into the way of the train and broke the thing that stops us. Reporter later the childrens story held consistent. When they got home they had a horrible story to tell that the bus stopped on the Railroad Tracks and barreled through the arm of the tracks and sat there. Several cars needed to stop and to tell the bus driver to move their bus. Nobody would contact us at all. Reporter the mother of two on the bus says that she would call steve the Transportation Department manager who would provide no details on the incident except this. Steve told me today that the bus driver will no longer be driving the bus. Reporter leahs sister kelly says her son was also on the bus. I got it from the third party, my sister. Like she said she needed to call them to find any information because they werent reaching out to anybody. They didnt contact anybody about this situation.
