San Francisco Police released new information and pictures from last weeks deadly shooting at a ups facility. Rob malcolm is in the city tonight. Rob investigators say the three men who were killed were targeted and the guns used by the killer were stolen. Reporter yes, thats right. Although the suspect jimmy lam instead, police say this investigation is still active and ongoing. They are trying to trace those stolen groans guns used in the shooting. The weapons used by jimmy lam taking three lives instead of his own including his own. Police also recovered a backpack at the scene which contained ammunition. Only there 10 was used and 20 rounds were fire. It is not clear who stole the guns of police were asked how mr. Lam was able to get the guns into a secure ups facility. Mr. Lam is an employee of ups and was in the building for employment purposes. Any information that we have asked to where he came in and the security and the magnetometer video information is best answered by ups. Jimmy lam has been booked for nonviolent offensive. Theres a question what motivated him on shooting. Police of interviewed over 100 witnesses. Many saying jimmy lam walk by employees and shot four people inside the building during a meeting and then targeted a 46 yearold out side. After the shooting inside the building, numerous ups employees fled the building. Mr. Lam was then observed on video calmly walking outside the building as well. Once outside the building, mr. Lam walked up to michael who was standing on the corner of 17th and san bruno avenue and without speaking to him, mr. Lam shot him multiple times. After he walked back in the building he was confronted by officers and took his own life. A search warrant fell multiple cellular phones, journals and computer files that are part of the investigation. We are reviewing all of those items now and Computer Forensics examiners that will determine if theres any information that will lead to a motive. Reporter a lot to go through.
