Reporter held the victims as gunpoint. This happened on the first floor of this building here on 40th avenue. The victims say they often leave their front door unlocked because theres a gate. If we pan down, we can show you the gate in front of the building. Thats usually locked but the residents say they admit this gate sometimes sticks and they think thats maybe how they got in. This happened before 3 00 a. M. The victims tell us there were eight people inside the building. The five men broke in and went from room to room, waking people up and bringing them into the living room. Ive never had a gun in my face before. That was pretty intense. Reporter did they all have guns . One of them had a knife. One of them grabbed a knife from our kitchen and i saw two guns. Reporter were they covering their faces . No. They all had really bagby clothes on and hoods on. But you could see their faces. Reporter victims say they ransacked the place, they believe, looking for drugs. They broke at least one door down and took iphones, money, photographry victim. There were five suspects. Two left almost immediately after it began. She was scotted by spotted by guests around midnight. A Facebook Page has been set up to find her. Shes studying to be a paramedics. Shes described as53, long hair died black and a fair complexion. We spoke to South Lake Tahoe police this morning and they say a friend of hers saw the missing page on facebook, contacted them. Police contacted elissas parents in santa rosa. That was january 1st. Police say the parents were under the impression they couldnt file a missing persons report until 24 hours after their daughter went missing. Police say thats not the case.
