Well see if theres a change coming up in ten minutes. Heres sal. We have slow traffic getting out to 101. Most of this is here near the 880 interchange. Were looking at the san mateo bridge where traffic is smooth to foster city. Back to the desk. Thank you, sal. One man is in Critical Condition after being shot several times in hayward. It happened last night on revere avenue. Ktvus Claudine Wong just spoke to a witness who is providing some chilling details about the shooting. Reporter good morning. Yes. We know a lot of people out here heard the shots being fired last night. Were hearing from neighbors anywhere from three to five. Were getting a clear picture of what happened in the moments after the shots fired. The shots were fired down the street where the victim was apparently in his car. But after he was shot he drove down the street coming just a few houses from where were standing right now. There was a van parked there. He apparently crashed into the van. The entire time, however, he was apparently calling out for help. Desperate cries for help for anyone who was listening. Police were here very quickly. One woman who didnt want to go on camera tells us what she saw as police helped save the shooting victims life. He said im bleeding. Im bleeding. Please help me, help me. And the cops are like dont worry. They are on their way, talking about the ambulance. They are on their way, they are on their way. And he then the police pulled him out of the car and laid him down on the ground. A few minutes later, the ambulance came and they got him up and put him took him away. Reporter now, this was all about 10 00 last night. After the victim was sent to the hospital, investigators spent hours out here on scene and didnt leave until shortly before 4 00 this morning. The victim is in his 30s, he lives in hayward. He does not live in this neighborhood. What led to all of this is still unclear. Were hearing the victim may have been in an argument prior to the shooting. He may know someone who lives on the street. We know police have got be one suspect description. They are trying to chase that down confirming it by any possible witnesses. They are hoping to hear from more witnesses. Weve been talking to police throughout the morning. We havent talked to them in the last hour and a half and hope to talk to them to get more on their investigation to see if its yielded any more information on the suspect. It happened at 2 30 in Golden Gate Park near stanian and haight streets. Police say the suspects are both africanamerican. One is described as heavyset with dreadlocks. The other was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt. They left the scene in a maroon car. 7 04. In Santa Clara County, cindy chavez is the apparent winner of the special Runoff Election to fill the seat of george shirakawa. With 100 of the precincts counted, chavez has 55 of the vote. Her opponent, teresa alvarado, has 45 . The results still have to be certified. The winner will replace disgraced supervisor george shirakawa. He resigned in march after pleading guilty to using tax money to support his gambling habit. Justin timberlake and jayz performed at candle still park. The chronicle says tickets were given away to city hall, including the parks and rec manager and supervisors. The freebies range from 150 to 310 for luxury seat tickets. Officials say its a long standing policy that the city receives Complimentary Tickets which they often pass on to nonprofits. A special ed teacher in antioch has been charged with abus children with autism in her clath room. She turned herself in yesterday after an arent for her arrest was issued. Shes accused of pinching, slapping and verbally abusing six children while teaching kindergarten and 1st grade at grant elementary school. She resigned in february after parents reported her to police. Shes expected to enter a plea on august 12th. Happening today special bedbug sniffing dogs are being brought in by goodwill at their warehouses. Brian flores is live in burlingame at the warehouse there. Its been shut down because of an infestation. Whats going on . Reporter well, goodwill says this will be a huge financial hit for them. As many know, they depend on donations from the public. Over the weekend, bedbug dogs detected bedbugs at the location off 11th and mission. Those same dogs will be here because of another case of reported bedbugs here. Goodwill says theyve lost hundreds of thousands of dollars of revenue because of this. Theyve had to throw away items and steam clean garments, clothes and fabric. Goodkill says they dont know where the goodwill doesnt know where they came from but they are doing everything they can to get rid of them, that includes hiring exterminators. They will treat an area where its believed the bedbugs were. Where this hurts goodwill is the financial dollar which trickles down to employees. 80 depend on the operations. They dont believes Bigger Stores will affected. It will take some time for the warehouses to open. At the toll plaza, theres a delay. Its not as deep. On the other side of 880 it is a 10, 15minute wait once you make it over the bridge, it looks good. This is right over the coliseum and the traffic looks good in both directions. Southbound traffic is moving along nicely. If you are driving in san jose, we had an earlier crash on northbound 101 at old oakland. Thats been gone now. But 101 has not recovered. If you live there or work there, its been cool and foggy. Pacific, same thing. Where is the summer . You are only a month away. September it gets nice by the coast. Those jets are no longer allowed to land at the same time as another jet lands on a parallel runway. U. S. Airline pilots may continue landing side by side. How the tsa is responding after charges of employees stealing, sleeping on the job and even worse. Reporter lawmakers called for the audit so they can learn more about tsa misconduct and how officials punish workers. Lets take a live look at the homeland House Security Committee hearing right now where the chairman said the tsa was created after 9 11 to prevent Security Problems but workers have not been living up to its standards. The tsa lists integrity as one of the core values but unfortunately thats been loss. Reporter tsa workers are sleeping on the job and letting family and friends bypass security, and then theres also thefts. The audit shows 17 of employees were fired for misconduct over the past few hours. Lawmakers want more details on how the tsa files up with those workers who are punished, reprimanded or suspended. In an editorial with the Washington Post feinstein calls for Greater Transparency and private protection. She says the nsas collectors have made that attack. This morning secretary of state john kerry says israeli and palestinian negotiators will meet again in the middle east within two weeks. Kerry also says two sides hope to have a Peace Agreement in nine months that could lead to an independent palestinian state. The announcement comes after both sides met privately with president obama at the white house. Analysts say many obstacles still stand in the way of a Peace Agreement including in the west bank and east jerusalem. This morning, Oakland Police are asking for the publics help to identify four men who may have information about a mans death. Oakland Police Released these pictures taken by darien stone of fremont the night he was killed at a Halloween Party in 2011. Police believe the women in the photographs were with stone the night he was caught and may have new information about a possible suspect. If you have any information, you are asked to call Oakland Police or crimestoppers. 7 18. San Francisco Police investigating a weekend pellet gun attack. It happened in the mission district. They say its the latest in several similar incidents. The most recent shooting happened sunday at my corner cafe, right at the corner of south van ness and 26th street. The man heard the sound of gunfire, then realized he had been hit in the torso by a pellet. Police say there have been similar reports in the area. The shooter is described as a man between 16 and 25 years old. He has long hair and tattoos. New details about the drug suspensions coming to Star Major League baseball players. The league has told the Players Union who it wants to suspend for the scandal. There could be a big announcement on friday. The two sides are trying to reach some deals on how they will be punished. Yankees star Alex Rodriquez faces a 50year game suspension or possibly the year if he does not reach a deal. And colon and cabrera wont be punished any more likely than they already have. They were suspended last year. A medical Marijuana Dispensary will not be allowed to open near a residential neighborhood in richmond. The Contra Costa Times reports richmonds city Council Voted against the dispensarys permit application after hearing from neighbors that it would increase crime and drug use in the neighborhood. The owner of richmond Compassionate Care. Berkeleys commission on labor is still considering an increase to the citys minimum wage. State law requires the min maam wage of 8 an hour and berkeley uses that as its base. But there is a push to raise the city minimum to to 10 50. Some employers say that could hurt their businesses. The conductor has been charged with negligent homicide. Hawaii has come up with a way to reduce benefits to the homeless. They are working on a program called return to home. Hawaii says it can save millions of dollars each year on food, shelter and other services by giving the homeless a oneway plane or cruise ship ticket stateside. Cities such as San Francisco and new york have a Similar Program offering homeless a one way ticket out of town as a way to save money. Walnut creeks City Attorney has resigned in the latest allegations of a sex abuse scandal. He claims City Council Members were pressuring him to shut down an alleged sex abuse investigation. There was an investigation whether the people at the Lesher Center were acting appropriately to report sexual abuse of teenaged girls. Lets check in with sal. Whenever i look at this, its this crowded, there could be something on the bridge. Its slowing things down in San Francisco. Well get to the bottom of that. Also looking at the commute in san jose. Its improved quite a bit. Traffic looks pretty good now. The thing that may be going on is there is a crash on the shoulder westbound near the metering lights. Its not in the lanes.
