We have more information about a car chase that we first reported on the news. They tried to pull over a stolen van. The pursuit ended at 98th avenue. The van slammed into several vehicles and caught fire. It was the driver of the stolen van who died at the scene, drivers in the other vehicles were also injured. An officer suffered a cut on his wrist during the afternoon. Police are investigating a deadly stubbing. This he found the first victim, he died at the scene. Two more calls came in, one about a car crash and another telling them that other stabbing victims had been dropped off at the hospital. All the incidents they believe are connected. Theyre trying to figure out exactly what happened. Motorcyclist fell 30 feet to his death after going off the side of an onramp in San Francisco. It happened on tenth street. He fell out to southbound highway 101. It doesnt appear other vehicles were involved, but its unclear whether speed or alcohol were a factor. The onramp was shut down for an hour and a half while the crash was cleared. Police plan to expect to release his identity after they notify his family. An event that dates back 100 years will take place in the heart of the city. Well look at the chinese parade and the rush to get everything done.
