You can see from oakland, hayward into fremont we have the low clouds with us again into san jose as well. I think its going to pull back. I think were going to be a lot like yesterday. Slightly warmer in the afternoon for most of us around the bay and inland, but here we go. Let me show you what happens as we get into the 9, 10 00 hour. Its peeling away from our inland communities. Its still just inside the bay, and you can see it here along the coastline as we get into the afternoon. Partly sunny, partly cloudy for the second half of the day along the coast. You can see its going to just hang right here near the shore. Again, a lot like what we had on saturday. Temperaturewise, 44 in concord. 47 walnut creek. Upper 40s in San Francisco. The low 50s Mountain View and 49 in san jose. As we get into the 9 00 hour, mid40s to mid50s. Lunchtime feeling pretty good. Upper 50s at the coastline to upper 60s around our inland communities, and for the second half of the day tack on a few degrees from what we had yesterday and its pretty much where we stand for the second half of your sunday. 69 oakland, 69 san rafael. Low 70s from redwood city into san jose. As we get into the workweek, changes coming our way. Im tracking a storm for you coming up. We spoke with one Castro Valley runner who told us why he loves the oakland marathon. Really its the crowds that come out here, the people of oakland i think carry you all the way through the 26 miles. Its an amazing feeling. Unlike any other marathon ive ever run. The people of oakland are amazing. Like he said the crowds are amazing. They pump the runners up. There are lots of activities down here. If youre not a runner you can come down, enjoy the food truck, enjoy the concerts theres going to be some music acts. There are deejays along the way. My favorite fun fact of the day actually is that there are 10,000 granola bars out here this morning. More granola bars than runners this morning. I went to go push the door and nothing happened. Thats when i was hitting the buttons and nothing happened. The door was jammed inside 580 main street in redding. The shaft isnt fully enclosed so the only way out was up a ladder and over a wall. When they put the ladder down thats when she kind of started freaking out. So firefighter john keogh started talking frozen with caylin and that triggered a thought.
