For the afternoon today upper 60s with mostly sunny skies in pacifica and mid70s around the bay, 75 hayward and 76 for you san jose, temperatures are slightly warmer. Mid to upper 70s, 80 degrees in the forecast for areas like livermore, mid70s in napa and into the south bay and morgan hill. A warmup for today a little change for tomorrow. This morning authorities in contra costa are searching for the shooters for two homicides in richmond. It happened on fifth and richmond avenue. A person at the scene told us he went to the school with the victim who he says was still a teenager. I went to school with him in middle school and high school, and its sad, you know. He hangs around here, but he didnt cause trouble. Its sad. Investigators have not made any comments about the case. They blocked off the area for several hours last night. Crime scene technicians to be scene putting evidence blockers on the ground. Police were called to a difficult by shooting at pennsylvania avenue and 6th street. A man killed a male driver and injuring the female passenger. The car stopped after colliding into a parked vehicle. They have information about the shooter, but theyre not releasing it yet. They do not know if the two shootings are related. Friends and family of a missing Software Engineer in San Francisco will be continuing their search efforts today. 26yearold dan hall was last seen leaving their apartment. The roommates say when he didnt come home that night, they didnt think much of it. Theyre hoping that he is somewhere safe. A lot of people from his work said he was a little quieter that week, and so thats what were hoping. Were hoping he got a breath of fresh air, went on vacation and hopefully well see him back soon. He suffered from migraines and suffered with dizzy spells. Anyone with information about his whereabouts, hes 6foot 1 and ways 210 pounds and was last seen wearing a red hooded sweat shirt. Crews are paving the way for januarys installation for a movable Center Median. It be the biggest change on the bridge since it opened in 1937. Work is being done, one lane will be closed on the marin side in both directions until tomorrow when the Center Median is installed, the Golden Gate Bridge will be closed two vehicles for two days. Gas services are expected to be resolved this morning. They repaired a fourinch gap in a pipe that ruptured yesterday afternoon. They are digging at the market and santa clara streets mistakenly hit that line. Pg e had to shut off the gas. They had to force shops to close and reduce hours. A lot of restaurants depend on the weekend and the sharks team so this gas leak is affecting everybody. Pg e is still looking into whether the construction crews followed proper procedures. Theyre seeking legal action to recoup their losses. An outbreak made people sick at this hotel last night. The virus is to blame. It happened at a convention. The nuro virus is highly contagious.
