Inside the bay, portions of the east bay and the north bay. And you can see in the south bay as well. As we get into the second half of the morning, its going to burn away. Its going to hug close to the coast once again. And temperatures will range from the upper 50s to low 60s right along the coast. We have 60s and 70s just inside the bay. And the inland communities will be back in the upper 70s and a few low 80s and into the central valley. Definitely a day of 80s there as well. Look at the afternoon highs. Take a look at whats happening. 47 in napa. 51 in may ward. 49 in San Francisco. And with the low clouds, theyre lookly to experience delayed flights. Afternoon highs, 75 in oakland. 71 san rafael. And 81 san jose. 84 in antioch. And a near repeat of what we had yesterday with a tad bit of cooling in some areas. 69 in San Francisco and cooling off for the giants game. Ill have a look at the forecast and the rest of the weekend and the possibility of a few scattered showers coming our way in just a bit. Anticipation is building for the warriors playoff opener. The warriors square off against the new orleans pelicans. The warriors won three of four games between the two teams. Dont count the pelicans out. But odds makers have tapped the warriors as the favorites. Todays game is a sellout. If you want a ticket, they are available through online brokers. On stub hub, tickets start at 105 and go all the way to 7600 for people who want to sit courtside. And parking passes are at least 60 bucks. [siren] those sirens sounded at 5 12 this morning, marking the exact time the great quake hit 109 years ago. This mornings ceremony included a minute of silence followed by a sing along of the song San Francisco. Officials say the city and its people showed amazing resilience to rebuild after the natural disaster. Great recognition and commemoration of our earthquake, and more importantly of the restoration and the comeback of our city and the stories behind that that are so important. Reporter the annual remembrance including painting a fire hydrant gold. The hydrant is credited for helping firefighters put out the destructive fire. The quake wiped out 80 of the city. Tomorrow night at 11 00 on a second look well delve into the natural disaster. Youll hear the Amazing Stories of those who survived that earthquake. Pg e a pipeline explosion injured 14 people near fresno. It happened near highway 99. Video of the flames was captured from people in multiple vehicles. Pg e says a county worker was using heavy equipment to build up a berm on the gun range when the explosion happened. A backhoe that a nonpg e crew was using. And its all part of the ongoing investigation. A 12inch guess line was injured. A new plan designed to get cities to reduce water use is expected to be released today. The California Water board has heard a lot of complaints and its trying to take them into consideration. The cuts will be based on water use in 2013. The board can impose hefty fines for noncompliance. The pressure is on the water districts to reach whatever targets are set. They have to figure out how to work with consumers and water users to reach the targets. San francisco is in better shape than many. It gets water from and serves several other cities. Residents have been conserving water for some time. Oakland police investigated at least three strait shootings overnight. A woman was shot in the head while sitting in a car on 89th avenue near plymouth street. The victim later showed up at highland medical center. And early this morning, a person was wounded in the arm in a shooting at a parking structure in Jack London Square and no arrests have been made in any of these cases. A transit bus hit a pedestrian in oakland. It happened in the area of 36th street and dr. Martin luther king jr. Way. Police are not releasing much about the incident. The bus driver did stop at the scene. We do not know if there were any passengers on board at the time of the incident. We have reached out to ac transit and are waiting for a response. Officials have come up with a plan to make walking in the city safer and easier. To schools, transit, parks, and neighborhood shopping centers. Residents will have a chance to give input by filling out a survey or attending a public workshop in may. Caltrans is trying to assure transportation officials that the span of the bay bridge will hold up. Caltrans met yesterday. Safety concerns include short bolts and microscopic cracks in bolts that help anchor the span. Bay area transportation officials are alarmed about rising costs after the construction of the bridge such as the demolition of the old span. The main branch of the San FranciscoPublic Library will be closed today because of maintenance. Crews are working on the sewage system. A Library Spokeswoman says the current problem is not the same as the incident last august that plugged up drains. Theres a bookmobile to handle returns and the main library will open tomorrow. 15,000 are expected in San Francisco.
