San jose police are investigating a shooting that killed two people in an area just south of downtown san jose. We are at the scene with more on what happened. Reporter the crime scene technicians are here in the middle of a street gathering evidence. Eighth street gathering evidence and they have been here all night. They received a call on shots fired just before 9 00 last night. Witnesses say that a car drove up and someone inside fired multiple shots, and the two meant never outside were hit, one died at the scene and the second died at the hospital a short time later. Homicide detectives are interviewing the people from the neighborhood to get a description of the suspect or shooter but do not have motive. We do not know whether it is graying gang related, and the victims were brothers, one in their late 20s and the other in their late 30s. We are told that both victims are believed to be from the neighborhood, and we will check in throughout the morning to try to get updated information, and we will bring it to you as we get it. We will check back in throughout the morning. 4 34 am is the time. San Francisco Police are asking for help to find a person involved a bizarre case, the person bit off the finger of the bartender. They have released a Surveillance Video of the suspect, and it happened just after 2 am, and the man left the bar and tried to get back in as it was closing. He was told no and then tried to climb into her window and was confronted by the bartender. And when the bartender went outside, the man attacked him. He was beaten pretty bad, several contusions, swollen eyes and scratches on his arms and hands. At one point the bartender tried to get on top of the suspect and control them, and the suspect decided to bite off the ring finger. The police say that doctors were not able to save his finger. Investigators released Surveillance Video showing the suspect that night, and in one video he is play fighting with friends, and then putting his shirt back on in another video. If you recognize the man call the san Francisco Police. The lifeguard at the Sonoma County beach pulled a man from the water and they believe he may have been diving for abalone. Cal fire was called out about 20 miles north of gender and the man was pronounced dead at the beach. The Sonoma County sheriffs have not released the name or where he is from, but diving for abalone can be very dangerous and last year several people died while searching in marin county and mendocino county. Mourning the loss of the officer killed by the hitand run driver, and officer died saturday night after his motorcycle was hit by the car. The driver, kept going and officers found him and he was arrested a short time later. The officer was a Field Training officer that was off duty at the time of the crash. He was a Community Servant for the city of stockton and put his own life on the line every day for the citizens and the community. And who would have thought that his life would be taken is something so tragic. The police say that mesa was driving without a license but alcohol and drugs were not a factor. The families of firefighters from around the state holding a rally at the steps of the capitol in sacramento. Union representing cal fire crews says that some may not realize that firefighters are in danger every time they go to work, and earning minimum wage.
