San jose police were called to a home just west of highway 87 in the willough glen neighborhood. Now, we want to take you live to the scene right now. Heres how it looks this morning. You can see San Jose Police still has an Investigative Unit there on scene. San jose police did release a statement saying officers arrived on the scene and first found two victims killed at the home. The statement then says there was an officerinvolved shooting and the adult male suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was hurt in the incident. A neighbor says he had never seen anything like this before. Its just very shocking. Im just its just news i dont want to hear. I dont want to hear anybody doing taking each others life and killing each other like that with a gun. Authorities are not commenting about the relationship between the suspect and the two people who were killed in the home. Police say the suspect attacked an employee at the Subway Sandwich shop on Market Street about 11 30 yesterday morning. A homeless man attacked the man with a knife because he didnt like the way his sandwich was made. The suspect was shot by one of two Police Officers who happened to be on patrol nearby. Witnesses heard yelling back and forth before the Police Officer fired the shots. When they got here they asked the person to put the knife down. He refused to put the knife down. He continued to stab the person. They shot him and hes dead. In the south bay san joses police chief detailed the circumstances of another officerinvolved shooting. This one happened last tuesday when officers responded to a family disturbance. Ann ruben reports the chief said the officer opened fire after a man charged at him with a knife. Reporter police were responding to a family altercation late tuesday night, a fight between a father and son. Both men called 911. We were getting ready to go to bed and heard a gunshot. I heard three, pop, pop, pop. And i peeked through the window and there was Police Officers running that way. Reporter authorities had just pulled up on the scene when it happened. They say the son who was 28 years old charged at an officer with a knife raised over his head. He was armed with two knives, one in his right hand that he had raised over his head and one in his left hand. Reporter the officer fired his weapon striking the 28yearold at left once at least once. He died at the hospital. The man a history of arrests, drug use and mental illness. We talk about less lethal and things of that nature. A golden gate transit bus hit the man just after 8 00 last night in fairfax. It happened on sir Francis Drake boulevard. The road was closed for several hours as a result. An attorney said their clients want to return to class and they want their disciplinary marks erased from their school records.
