You can see the construction is starting tonight at 10 00. Crews will install special tracks in the fourth and king intersection, it will be around the clock problem for eight days. The track will carry muni trains for a few blocks. For commuter thats construction means Major Construction, there will be running buses instead of trains. Muni lines affected by the line the f market line and judah, and the 81 x and 82 x bus lines, the mta advices avoiding the area if possible. Eastbound king street between third and fifth street will be closed. Fourth street between channel and king.
