You can take a train from pittsburgh bay point to about a little while you can take some trains in San Francisco but then they have to turn around. Its not really helpful is it . They wont be able to get that vehicle out or they havent tolidine when they will be able to get that vehicle out. They said until further notice this he are trying to get it out the way now. The two band members have serious injuries. They were walking last night from their hotel, crossing the street and heading over to yoshis for a performance by tower of power last night. As they crossed the tracks they were struck by that oncoming train. The accident happened just before eight last night. Its injured musicians have been identified the drummer and bass player. We are told that the two men were responsive after being hit. Both of them did suffer internal injuries according to authorities. The general manager of the restaurant ran out the to help them when he heard what had happened. When he heard they had been hit. He said he initially found them unconscious and said that they had been thrown some distance by that passenger train. After a study found many children are exposed to Dangerous Levels of lead Health Officials have stepped up efforts to test for lead in older homes. The Alameda Healthy Homes Department walked us through part of the testing process. They test dust in the homes and they use an xray machine to test layers of paint. The Department Said that most homes built before 78 are presumed to have lead paintf. Lead is found the county can offer the Property Owner up to 10,000 to remedy the issue. The county is looking at other options as well. There are discussions now underway with oakland as far as exploring the possibility of some type of sal testing requirement for high risk communities. Right now the county is working with the city of oakland to stolen a proactive inspection program. In the meantime their goal is to complete 100 units of lead safe housing specifically for children under the age of six. If you want to test your homes, experts say contact the county to see if you qualify for the lead hazard repair program. Also today the first train of the of munis fleet of the future rolls in.
