The british newspaper, the sun reports two people are hurt after an intruder burst into the high school and opened fire. French police are not confirming anyone was injured. But a French Television station words police have arrested one man. There are other reports that at least one other person was involved in the shooting. It outlines military spending and it has some budget cuts across other federal agencies. And caroline joining us live in washington with more details. And i want to ask you some questions. Lets start with the biggest gains. The military would really have gig gains under this proposed spending plan. Why were yes. Lots of smiles in the pittsburgh this morning. And theyre getting a 9 bump. And extra 54 billion and Veterans Affairs a 6 increase. And those are the only areas in the budget where there is a bump. And those are being paid for by some severe cuts. Other thing that they will be getting is a down payment for the border wall between mexico and the u. S. You cannot snap your fingers and make discrimination just go away simply by replacing one document with another. And the judge said that hawaii would suffer financially considering the number of tourists and students that visit the state. Throats have not been slit all over america. You never have to have the ban in the first place. The issue here is the vetting. Why not tighten the vetting with or without a ban . White house will likely appeal the president s executive order. In the bay area, and Oakland Police officer was hurt last night during a wild police chase. A man and woman reportedly rammed a car into an Oakland Police car and the officer broke his wrist that led to a pursuit into several freeways and several east bay cities. This case finally ended with a suspect on a rooftop. Reporter good morning. The chase ended here on college avenue, the very busy and popular area in berkley. And those suspects took off running. But the male suspect found his way on top of that roof where he was in a sandoff with the police. And the suspects got here and caused two collisions and a Large Police Presence rattled local call students and the Oakland Police tried to pull over a white dodge truck. It was driven by a man way female passenger. And he slammed into the police car and the police crashed the truck and chased it through several cities including casstor valley. And it ended in berkley when the truck crashes into two cars. The man went up to the roof of a near building. And they eventually talked the suspects into surrendering. We were not sure how serious it was. But we were not sure what was going. I talked to my family members that were safe. Reporter one man told us that his wifes car was hit by the suspect dollars and hes not suspects and hes not happy that the police pursued a chase through a crowded area. And the police said there were no other reported injuries. The Oakland Police said they knew during the traffic stop that the suspect had a firearm and they did find a load handgun. Back to you. It is slow and that is because of the crash that blocked lanes for a while. It was not and injury crash. But they were there for a while up against that Center Divide. And it had a chain reaction. And that is slow. If you drive this commute, i would recommend leaving the house early and bringing your Favorite Music and getting into a different attitude. You got that . Good.
