We are looking a at commute that is busy including the bay bridge. Everyone always wants to know about this commute. About a 20 minute delay. Not especially bad. We had a couple of minor things happen here, but this isnt the way it would be any way at this time 7 02 in the morning. Interstate 880 it has not slowed down to oakland t. Eastbound bay commute especially 680 coming out of pleasantton is terrible because of an earlier accident so is highway 84. The morning through liver more is better. I think it would be better than using 680. New this morning today is the day a homeless camp was set to be cleared out and police are at the scene right now. Let go to christian captain. Reporter you may have seen that San FranciscoPolice Lieutenant here just a couple of minutes here. He has now left. He was giving an update. This is a group of homeless advocacy groups that have all come together to try to combat this move on order that is set to go into effect today. The lieutenant told them they are conducting a normal friday normal cleaning, so that is not the enforcement of that move on order, which is were concerned about. A lot of these advocacy groups spent tonight last night, a lot of them waiting for public groups to clear the area. More showed up this morning. The city issuing the 72 hour notice to homeless on tuesday in the south of the market area. A virtual tent city sprang up. A lot of them ended up here under the freeway in San Francisco. We talked to one man who says theres a lot of confusion about what time theyre supposed to move, they heard 5 00 a. M. , 7 30 a. M. 5 00 tonight. The homeless say that is adding to the stress of the situation. We are still hearing a lot of different things. We were told police were coming at 7 30 tonight. The notice is officially over at 5 00. And heard from Public Health officials that theyre going to be 5 00, so we will see what happens. Reporter as we said we have seen dpw, San Francisco police out here this morning. So far they have not enforced that move on order. Again, the update that we have from the San FranciscoPolice Lieutenant was that this was a normal cleaning they would do on a regular friday. The mayor has advocated that the homeless in this area move to pier 80 to store their belongings. Pets are allowed. It has flexible hours. Again, thats the citys solution. They are trying to drive more people to go to pier 80. Still at this point unclear when that move on order is going to be enforced. Again we are hearing everything from 7 30 this morning possibly 7 00 tonight. We are also hearing they might not even pursue that move on order today, so this is a very fluid situation. And advocates are saying thats only adding to the stress. Reporter it doesnt feel like theres a lot of possibilities. A lot of the homeless look ready to move on. They have packed up their belongings, they have a cart. Loaded their belongings on that. Some of the tents over here, you will be able to see some of these still up, but a will the of them around they can pack it up or put it onto a cart or something hike that to kind of move it around and so what you are seeing here is a fraction of what was out here before because again a lot of them have already been packed up. So it doesnt seem like its lead to go a real tense situation. But they were definitely eager to talk to the lieutenant when he came out here this morning. Thank you. Our time now 7 07 San Jose Police arrested a High School Teacher accused of having sex with a student. Youre in san jose to tell us more about this suspect and the Charter School where he teaches. We are waiting to hear back from School Officials who apparently knew about this allegation and conducted it own investigation, but police found out from a parent, not the school. Here is a picture of the teacher we are talking about. He is 29 year old zachary drew. He was arrested for several counts of having sex with a minor and lewd and lascivious acts with a minor. Police were contacted by a parent who learned that a 17 year old student had a sexual relationship with a teacher sometime in 2015 and they found out that the school had already conducted it own internal investigation and police obtained an arrest warrant. We are working to find out why the police werent called. Its on the same campus of oak grove high school. Authority have just identified a gunman who went on a shooting rampage in kansas as 38 year old cedric ford. He had been served with an order of protection 30 minutes before he we want on the attack. Sheriffs would not provide details on who asked for the protection order. He shot 50 teen people inside before he was shot and killed by a police officer. Excel industries makes lawn mower part. One of fords coworkers said he never saw any sign of trouble. He was a nice guy when i worked with him on second shift we hung out and everything was hunky dory. He had criminal record in florida, including burglary, grand theft and fleeing an officer. There are self cases of an immigrant in san jose county killing a young mother. He is due in court this afternoon for an arraignment. He is accused of killing his girlfriend. He is also now wanted by the feds. They told the county to notify the federal government if he is released to agents could possibly deport him. Victims of a deadly fire, calling on the city to save a building. The fire on mission and 22nd street killed one person and forced 60 people out of their homes. Recently inspectors ordered the building to be torn down because of safety concerns, but former tenants want to use imminent domain to take over the building and turn it into affordable housing. People displaced by a fire can go back to their homes at the previous rent but if the building is demolished the protection no longer applies. A week later police think the same man broke into the astonsia apartments down the street and tried to attack another woman but she was able to scare him away. There will be a meeting held at the bella vista apartments. Police say a girl posted a threat on social media that forced schools to close in willow thursday. We told you about this on mornings on two. The School District canceled classes as are precaution. The post said that a male student would shoot up the Willows High School campus. Police say now the threat was not credible. Thousands of child safety seats are being recalled because of a possible risk of injury.
