It is good to see you. Good morning. One half hour ago there was good news about the battle against the clayton fire. Cal fire said it has gone from 5 contained it to 20 contained. It has not grown, which shows the firefighters are making progress. We want to show you a photo of the man police say is responsible for that fire. Damin pashilk faces numerous charges. He is a construction worker born in San Francisco, he is behind bars this morning in the lake county jail. Residence have been telling us they did believe the fire was intentionally set. Alex is right here in lake county. Show us some of the damage. Reporter good morning. I think there is sort of a sense of disbelief that someone would intentionally set a fire. We are in the hurt we are in the heart of lower lake. As i step out of the way you can see the burned cars. This is part of an auto repair shop. Also in the midst of all of this there are some homes behind the businesses. Now this morning we are getting word and there is a sense of relief that the police have arrested that man who they say is suspected of setting this destructive fire. [cheering] you can here the irruption from the crowd last night during a meeting. After the sheriff and cal fire chief told everyone in attendance that they have a man in custody in connection with the clayton fire. Damin pashilk was arrested by police and accused of starting a fire that broke out on saturday afternoon. It really exploded later in the day on sunday, driven by strong wind. They say Damin Pashilk is from california and Police Believe he is accused of setting a number of other fires in the lake county area. So far the clayton fire has destroyed at least 175 homes. A number of businesses also leveled by the fire. For people in this Community Many of them are trying to recover from the valley fire that swept through middletown just a year ago. For a lot of people it is hard to understand why someone would set the fire. I think everyone in lake county knew someone that lost a home. This is going to be the same thing. Lower lake is a small community. Reporter all of those folks who ran from their homes, packed up what they could and got out as this fire exploded in size. All of them staying at a number of shelters set up nearby. There is no word yet from officials on when all of those evacuees may be allowed to return. The latest word is it is too dangerous. There is no power or water. We did get good news as we were talking about here, i spoke with a member of cal fire and they feel like they made some progress overnight with this fire. But, it still stands at 4000 acres and they are being cautious about the fire. Our of thoughts are with all of those firefighters. Thank you. It is important to remember many schools have canceled classes because of the fire. The School District has canceled school for the rest of the week. Woodland Community College is also closed. The weather is a big part of all of that is happening Steve Paulson is all over this. It is hot, that is for sure. It was 101 at lower lake yesterday. It will be close to that today. The breeze is the key. It does look like it was to turn northeast later so that would not be good. No breeze is good at all but it does look a little easterly which means that the humidity will be low. We have got a lot of fog and drizzle around the bay. Others are already in the sun. Some locations they will warm up. The delta breeze was much stronger yesterday. Low 50s in the north bay. The sierra might actually see some thunderstorms development popping up in the next couple of days. If you are up there be advised. Theremay be some hints of instability. 60s, 70s, 80s and some 90s. Not a lot of good traffic but the only good news there are no lane blockages coming into San Francisco. We are also looking at the commute where traffic is getting slow early. Northbound 880 is very slow. This mornings drive on 580 does not look bad. If you are still in the livermore it is a nice looking dry but 680 is hundred 80 is beginning to slow down. Lets go back to the desk. Police investigating another crime at the westfield shopping mall. The Man Told Police he was beaten and robbed of School Supplies in a bathroom. Police say three men jumped him. He suffered minor injuries. This happened two days after the body of a man was found at the mall in an emergency exit stairwell. No arrests have been made. Milwaukee was calm last night after two days of protests. Tensions have been high since saturday when a Police Officer shot a man who police say he was running with a stolen gun. Protesters the story to several businesses and attacked Police Officers. The Faith Community has responded to the mayor and my department and they did an excellent job of singing to it that the vigil, that attracted hundreds of people, remained peaceful. There was one confrontation between a group of people and Police Last Night that ended with a six arrests. A bill being debated about a video recorded by police body cameras. The Senate Approved the measure that would prevent the release of any video showing the death of a Police Officer killed in the line of duty. The immediate family could release it if they wanted to but the bill is intended to protect them from having to relieve the nightmare of their loved one death. He decided to get into the wrong lane and now they are backing up traffic in that lane because he just has to try to sneak in. Of course those drivers are trying not to let him.
