And, reactivation of the hate crime hotline, and what it would mean for them working in San Francisco. And were sticking up and to see if there are increase tensions in the election. And, they soon be made cash they soon may be paying they soon may be paying 5 million in a crackdown. And, they have undocumented immigrants in courts, and it would reportedly began in january. The student assembly, addressing yesterday morning. An africanamerican student found the graffiti in the boys bathroom. The man, white was written over a set of urinals. The word colored was written over a lower single urinal. And if it happens again, whats the next thing thats going to be written . And, from that point, where does it stop . And how bad does it get . They are investigating this along with new racist graffiti found in california high schools in san ramon. Similar to other graffiti at the school last month. The student responsible for that incident was caught and punished. A second case a few days later still has not been solved. There is concern that they may be copycats. They were accused of strong armed robberies targeting women. Most victims were walking alone in the west oakland and Rockridge Bart stations. Some were caught off guard as they were talking on cell phones. Some of them did suffer minor injuries. They stole cell phones, purses, even a White Nissan Maxima. They say that the girl used that as a getaway. I dont know what happened what it i do . I wouldnt have given up my phone. That wouldve been a fight. Thats all that i have decided. A knife or gun, it was going to be a fight. The girls were inside the stolen nissan. Investigators are trying to find out if the girls are linked to other problems. They are searching for those who started shooting at each other near macarthur boulevard. And, a Nissan Altima speeding away when it crashed headon into another vehicle was driven by an elderly couple. They found a man with a gunshot wound inside of the nissan. Really, virtually none. I mean president elect trump has had a couple of things one, keeping kids on the parents policies till 26 but hes said we want to have policies that dont let you be turned away from the health plan if you have a preexisting condition. And as soon as you say that theres a lot of other things connected. He has also said, lets not throw people out on the streets without insurance. There are 1. 3 Million People in california with coverage. They depend on it, they can rely on it, so there will be changes but those changes will take time so people should take a break brass, sign up for coverage get enrolled and, the things will take time. And like you said, you mentioned some of those things, the preexisting condition, some of these things all of those things some of those benefits spread into those who have insurance through our companies. We have been protected. A number of things that we are protected by but also in california 5 Million People have coverage many through the states Medicaid Program and charting the lowest rate of uninsured ever in history benefits everybody because five years ago when people are uninsured and had 100,000 bills they didnt pay it, we did. And thats not happening. We produced a number of compensated business the hospitals dramatically. And, this is a big economic driver for california. Right. So i cant imagine a Trump Administration taking the rug out from under 20 million americans. And the whole economy. I have a couple a lot of questions people like i said, its on the a lot of minds for a lot of people. I have heard from quite a few Business Owners what can be done about the premiums . Its getting very expensive especially for small Business Owners. Yes, healthcare in america is expensive we are more expensive by about double western europe and we need to look at how to address that when the longterm, prescription drugs cost too much, but what we are doing, really clear, you and i probably have insurance through our jobs. Most people do when we have that, we get a leg up from our employer. And it helps employers offer employerbased college. Coverage. Affordability is job one which means we need to get people financial help while over the longterm making sure that we deliver better care. That will lower the cost for small businesses. How do we do that . Well, we want people to get care in the most costeffective way. 80 of of them can get access to a doctor by telehealth. They can see them on the phone or by video. It saves money and it gets care delivered faster. Otherwise, make a survey of a primary care doctor. Going to see her primary care doctor is better quality and it saves money. And with our health plans you can pick and have to deal with a better job. Those are some of those that will reduce cost one more thing we almost have to go, i have heard from other people it seems that coverage and networks undercovered california isnt quite as good as Corporate Group coverage and the Small Group Plan is available before. A couple of things here in the bay area you can choose between five or six Different Health plans. And, some are identical to what you get with those employers and others have networks that are different. You need to make sure if your doctor is in that network. In the old days, if you are signed up handcuffed to that plan. If your rates have gone up, consider shopping, see if they are in another network. Shopping is important in people can do that.
