Crews in San Francisco<\/a> looking into the cause of a water main break. It happened yesterday morning on evans avenue. Officials say no customers were affected by the break but part of the street was closed while repairs are being made. Crews inc. The age of the water main may have been a factor. Early reports indicate a man that died in a crash involving a caltran was an intentional act. It happened last night at the charleston road in palo alto. The mans car was on the tracks when it was struck by the train. This was the 11th caltran death this year. The Energy Company<\/a> has been slapped with a fine for using unqualified contractors to inspect gas lines. More than 100 unqualified contractors conducted half a million corrosion inspections throughout Northern California<\/a> in 2014. They first brought this to the attention in september but the Commission Said<\/a> the utility waited a year to report the matter. All of those pipes were check again and 18,000 has severe corrosion. Reporter the couple along with the parents of Griffen Madden<\/a> are suing nine people from the buildings owner and the concert promoter to the city of oakland and county of alameda. The Attorney Says<\/a> all were negligent and created a death trap inside of the warehouse where fire killed three dozen people. An owner must know, has to be responsible and cannot delegate what goes on in your building. They have to make sure it is safe and to have this kind of event it is just reprehensible. So, with no Affordable Housing<\/a> to be had the medical assistant went mobile. She went in here rv and spent the next mine months juggling three lives inside of this home. It was hell. Every day, sometimes you did not know if you would sleep, if someone would knock on the door what if the neighbors were going to complain. The police would show up. Reporter a chance knock on the door opened a big door, the Community Service<\/a> offered her help through the rental assistance program. So the rv got parked for good and the johnsons landed in a warm, san jose apartment. We were so ready, we slept on the floor we did not even care. Reporter the furniture arrived a month later come all thanks to the chronicle season of sharing program. Her kids are now sleeping in bunk beds. It is pretty nice and much more comfortable. It was really cold in our other bed. We have more space to move around. Family is the most important.
