This is the day which could be a real turning point in the race for the white house. Will donald trump be on his way to the gop, nomination . And will Hillary Clinton beat Bernie Sanders . We have some of the possible scenarios from washington. For republicans, donald trump really have an opportunity today not to block everything out but to put him on the pathway to winning the nomination outright. To do so, he has to win ohio. That is not going to be easy. For republicans, it may all come down to these two candidates and one state. Donald trump versus john kasich and ohio. Ohio is going to make America Great again. [ applause ] donald trump is already way ahead and the other big winner take all states in play today. Florida which could effectively be a last stand for home state senator marco rubio who is pulling a distant second or worse. But in ohio, john kasich, the governor of that state, is narrow lead leading recent polls. This country is not about us tearing one another down or having fistfights at a campaign rally. If john kasich is too far behind to win the nomination out light outright and denies trump, that could be enough to push the gop to a convention for five in july. He is betting that as governor of the key swing state of ohio, he will be in a position to at least be a negotiator or a broker if nothing else. Americas economy does better when we have a democrat in the white house. [ cheering ] Hillary Clinton is poised to win perhaps all of the states in play today. But Bernie Sanders is counting on upset by winning over economically disaffected voters particularly in the midwest by using a donald trump tactic affect attacking free trade agreements. I proudly stood with the workers. Secretary clinton stood with the bigmoney interest. Donald trump and Bernie Sanders do not have much in common. But on this issue of freetrade agreement, they do. And it is fully resonating with supporters. In washington, fox news. Authorities in North Carolina say donald trump will not face charges for inciting a riot were a man punched a protester. A 78yearold man was caught on video punching a protester who was seen as sorted out of the building by Law Enforcement. This happened last wednesday in fayetteville, North Carolina.
