Out of the south bay there is a new safety warning about b. A. R. T. s Silicon Valley extension. Trains are not running on the line yet but the tracks are now energized and pose a serious threat. Tracks in the south bay. Fencing is up. And also warning signs here. You can see it clearly says no trespassing. Despite all of the barriers, transportation officials are not taking any chances and trying to warn the public that this particular line is now undergoing testing. So what that means is that that third rail has been activated and is now electrified and extremely dangerous if anyone were to trespass into the area and touch that third rail. This tenmile stretch of track runs between interstate 680 and 880 from fremont down to san jose. Thats from the recently opened warm springs station in fremont to the new station that will soon open in san jose. The Valley Transportation Authority is trying to let people know in the area that the third rail is energized, it is carries 1,000 volts of electricity. They will be reaching out to people in the area to warn them about the risks here. Our Community Outreach team will be going into the neighborhood to try to contact tens of thousands of people to let them know, residences, businesses, schools, homeless shelters to let people know to take it seriously and not go near the tracks. A large cyber attack on 16 british hospitals this morning has shut down Computer Systems resulting in appointments canceled, phone lines down, patients being urn ited away. The Health Service that operates several hospitals in northwest engrand tweeted this following a cyber attack we are taking all precautionary measures possible to protect our local and systems and services. The national, excuse me, Health Service says the hospitals were hit by an apparent ransom ware attack that holds computers hostage while the attackers demand a ransom. Some jurors in the kayleigh child abuse case cried when a key piece of evidence was brought into court yesterday up in napa county.
