Reporter a series of events that ended up with a stolen truck crashing into this hayward residential street. 2700 gamble court, a deadend culdesac here. This all started when a man came outside to see another man, a suspect stealing his truck out of his driveway, that man followed a suspect a short distance in another vehicle of his. The suspect apparently noticed he was being followed and turned around and fired at the man who was following him. He luckily was not hit but thats when police were called into enter in to intervene. Chased that truck down to this court, 2700 gamble court, thats when police say the suspect tried to ram his vehicle into the officers. Apparently the suspect driving that stolen truck ended up crashing into several other parked cars. One motorist did suffer minor injuries but that motorist is expected to be okay. However, police opened fire when they said that that suspect was trying to ram his car into their vehicle. None of the bullets hit the man, however, and that man was able to get out of the vehicle and try to run away. Threatened the Lawrence Hall of science to close that night. While investigators havent figured out the cause of this fire, they have ruled that gunshots did spark the massive Detwiler Fire near yosemite. There is a 2000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible. A San Francisco woman says thieves stole something from her that can never be replaced. They took laptops and hard drive from her car with videos of her father and her and her father, by the way, is dying of cancer. She wants to get them back. On june 6th she says she was in the process of moving when someone broke into her car and stole six laptops, five external hard drives that were underneath a back of clothes in the back of her car. They describe finding a chaotic scene when they arrived. Officers called for backup. Paramedics did try to revive the victim but was pronounced dead at the scene. Neighbors say the family was overcome with grief. Destroyed, not distraught. Everybody was out here crying. It made me emotional too. Police have not revealed the victims identity or a possible motive to the shooting but say a preliminary investigation indicates it was an isolated incident. Authorities think the shooting may have stemmed from some type of party. Police shot and killed a man who officers say was armed with a knife. Investigators say a resident of a home on west steel lane in santa rosa called 911 before 6 00 yesterday morning to report someone avenues the house was, quote, acting crazy and causing a big disturbance. When Police Arrived at the scene, officers say they found the man hiding under a bed holding what they described as a large knife. Police say it made repeated attempts to get the man to drop the knife including less lethal force but he wouldnt listen. He advanced towards officers and one of them shot the man killing him. His identity has not been released. The officers were wearing body cameras at the time and police say there is video of the incident. Sonoma county Sheriffs Department is overseeing the investigation and the officer involved in that shooting has been placed on paid administrative leave. A man in Sonoma County was arrested overnight saturday in the brutal beating death of his wife. Steven rothchild called 911 friday night saying he and his wife had been fighting and that she was dead. Officers went to their home on amherst circle and found 67 yearold juanita rooting rothchild. It targets north koreas primary exports including cole, iron coal, iron and lead as well as banking ventures with foreign countries. Previous sanctions have not deterred north korea from further spanned its military. This new round an effort to finally stop that. North korea is no longer a threat faced by a single country or single region. It is instead a threat that confronts us all in a world with north Korean Missile tests seem routine, let me be clear, this is not business as usual. This is the most stringent set of sanctions on any country in a generation. These sanctions will cut deep and in doing so will give the north korean leadership a taste of the deprivation they have chosen to inflagstaff on the inflict on the north korean people.
