Reporter jubilation filled the streets of downtown san jose after the sharks clinched a spot in the stanley cup finals. The team has never made it to the finals since the franchise was born in 1991. For fans its a dream come true. Yeah. Weve been waiting a long time. I was about his age since i was a sharks fan. Now its our moment. Ive got a little sharks fan in the making. Lets go sharks this is the greatest moment in the history of the san jose sharks. Awesome. Seasonticket holder. This is such an amazing time. They played so well. Really proud. Reporter within the first four minutes of this crucial game six, the sharks scoring early, another goal in the second, then another goal in the third period. Now to developing news from marin county where sheriffs deputies are searching for three suspects after one person was found shot to death this evening and another person wounded. The shooting happened in novato in an open space area at the end of Fairway Drive near that Marin Country Club. Ktvus amber lee has been to the scene. Amber, what have you learned . Reporter the Marin County Sheriffs Department tells us they have concluded their extensive search of that open space area. But they are now following up on leads from Community Members and that there is no threat to the community here. Shortly before 5 00 Law Enforcement responded to a 911 call from a victim who said he had been shot and stabbed near the end of Fairway Drive in that open space area, popular with hikers and people who walk their dogs. When officers and deputies arrived, they found one man shot and stabbed near the trailhead. Upon a search of the area they located another man, dead. Also shot and stabbed. The first man was taken to the hospital where hes being treated. The sheriffs spokesman tells us after an extensive search of the area, they determined the suspect had fled and there is no immediate threat to the public. What brought these individuals appear, is unknown right now. Were working on a number of leads right now. That were getting from the community and people who may have very good information that were trying to identify who the suspects might be. Some of them appear to be viable. Im shocked. I am. Because ive never seen anything like this before. I asked a lieutenant if the motive involved drugs and gangs. He said investigators are looking into those possibilities. At this point, no one has been arrested. Pittman described the victims and suspects as hispanic and tells me investigators are working on releasing more details. Amber, this happened in an open space area. Is it secluded up there or are there homes nearby . Are in country club is not too far away. Correct . Reporter the Marin Country Club is about a mile from where the open space area is. There are some homes in the area. But surprisingly when everyone i spoke with out here seems to be feeling fairly okay and confidently Sheriffs Department is handling this. They said this is something thats very very rare. Now to the president ial campaign, a new report that sharply criticized Hillary Clinton for using a private email server when she was secretary of state. The state Department Inspector general says she did not seek permission to use the server. The report also said clinton had an obligation to discuss its use with others within the state department and the report said clinton and her aides refused to be interviewed for the investigation. In Orange County police broke up fights and arrested a handful of demonstrators outside a donald trump rally at the Anaheim Convention center today. Hundreds of people were protesting trumps calls to build a fence on the border. Some of the protesters threw objects at police. Officers say they had to intervene when a group of supporters began yelling racially charged chance at the demonstrators. Customers are caught in the middle. Let me show you exactly why. Take a look at this, window after window after window after window, can you tell the difference in any of these . Of course not. Neither can homeowners. They ordered a special type of energysaving glass and tonight, one former employee says they didnt get what they paid for. Are you trying to rip these people off . Reporter slamming doors. They didnt get what they paid for. Reporter stunning allegations. Im really shocked. Reporter surprised homeowners all over tens of thousands of dollars worth of windows and glass. Issues of transparency, clear contracts, clouded delivery. I do feel they broke the law. Theyve been really deceitful about it. Reporter it began with a bid to replace kitchen windows with something more Energy Efficient. I wanted to be able to filter out the heat and also have a project in the winter. I asked for e three. Reporter it refers to the numbers of coatings on the glass. The perfect balance. Reporter making it more Energy Efficient and more expensive. Was this a big part of the conversation . The person that came out was so great and told me you want the e three. This is definitely what you want. I said, oh good. Ive got to make sure. Im getting the right thing. Reporter that person who marked e three on the contract who target charged 3100 who signed on the bottom line has company representative. A lot of the customers reporter mark torres. Did she get it . No. Reporter 2 investigates has obtained more than a dozen contracts from homes entire across the entire bay area where this fired employee claims neither his company nor the contractor clear vision delivered or installed the correct windows. On the contract, you told them they were getting low e 3. Reporter what did they get . E 2. Would any homeowner know this by looking at the door whether they got what they paid for . No clue. Reporter san jose professor and window competitor keith perry says this professional device can tell with just one look. Meter on glass. Reporter time after time, the meter revealed the installed glass to be different from the contract order. What does the contract say . 3. Reporter tested 13 homes this way. And found some discrepancies in 12 of them. From san mateo to fremont to redwood city and here at these livermore homes. On both of these houses, every single window is not what they paid for. I think its a violation of the owners trust. Plus this is illegal in this area. Reporter illegal he believes because he says e 3 glass is the only way to get to the Energy Savings required by california state law in most areas. Is that a problem . Thats a problem if they have to replace it because it wouldnt pass inspection. Does the company know . Reporter Andrew Bautista owns clear vision. And partially owns window maker anna meiler. Anamar. Reporter they only showed up showed us the door. And the police. Does not knowingly put the wrong window, we do this allegation reporter the attorney not only disputes what customers got, but disputes how they got it. This is a contract by clear vision. Reporter he says Neither Company actually saw these contract with their names appearing on top here, and says they only saw separate orders placed by mark torres. And anamar doesnt know what mark torres promised customers. Reporter shouldnt they know . He worked for anamar. Why didnt they know . Anamar is again, mark torres is an independent contractor where he makes his own contract with customers. Reporter to back up his claim he agreed to provide records of what torres ordered and what they actually delivered to customers. But so far has not. Did your client try to rip off these homeowners . My client reporter is a simple question. Did your client try to rip these customers off . My client did not rip these customers off. Reporter torres disagrees and believes its bigger than him and his view claims. Do you believe there are more . I would assume so. If thats how they are practicing their business, towards the end, as i was there, im sure they did that before. Reporter at this san ramon home, her one case has now changed her view. We see all the birdies out there. Reporter a window purchase that on paper, one seemed once seemed so clear. They should replace everyones windows. And i think they should be penalized somehow for doing this. Its just not right. Reporter the Company Attorney says they are still working on this issue. If they find that any customer didnt get what they paid for, they will replace every window for free. In fact i just got off the phone with kathy lacey minutes ago. The woman featured in our story. She says without admitting any wrongdoing the company has already agreed to replace all of her windows and has already come out to take the measurements. Meanwhile the Company Attorney also claims their former employee mark torres has been harassing and threatening employees, even a customer. They have gotten a temporary restraining order against him. They also claim he once forged a check. Police are looking into that but torres has never been charged with any crime. We want to be very clear about that. The company basically says this is all because of mark torres. If it in fact happened, mark torres points to the company. What of the truth is, the customer in the middle may have the wrong glass. What is the price difference in these different windows . E 3 versus e to . Reporter for a 50 inch by 50 inch window, they see the price difference is about 30. Not so much money but mark torres points out that for a bigger window where many windows in a single home, it all adds up and think about how many windows this Company Sells per year.
