Reporter around 9 00 in the evening two women targeted at their car in this parking lot near owen and halen street. A white car pulling up beside him, a man masking his face pulled out a gun on them. That seems so excessive. Feels like weve seen this crime amping up in danger and getting more aggressive. Its creepy. Its creep by because you dont know. You know if youre next. Reporter especially since residents say they got a note from the Property Management earlier in the week warning them of recent crime. While security guards are often visible at santana row. A bay area man has filed a civil lawsuit against two security guards tat valley fair mall. He says that one of the guards drew a gun on him during a confrontation last christmas season. This video was provided by his attorney. The second guard threatens to break the window unless buchanan unlocks his door. According to the complaint, buchanan says the incident all started when he hit a traffic cone while trying to avoid another car. The mall says it wont comment on pending litigation. A sheriff deputy is in Critical Condition tonight after being shot while responding to a domestic disturbance call. Authorities say another deputy then shot and killed the gunman. That gunman has been identified as 38yearold jose torrez. Hundreds of s. W. A. T. Team members are heading to pleasantton tomorrow for the start of the annual urban shield event. Its specialized training that intended to prepare Law Enforcement officers for disasters or terrorists attacks. Urban shield pits s. W. A. T. Teams against each other in two days of nonstop scenarios. The idea is to push them to their limits as close to the real thing as possible. This year 30 teams are signed up from all over california and also mexico, and taiwan. They will spread out at dozens of sights to practice responding to a variety of natural and manmade emergencies. His mother told me theyre sharing their story so others will know what to do when bitten by a snake. I was just at my friends house in their backyard. Still he didnt expect to get bitten even though hes been thought to be aware. He has been thought at school that baby rattlesnakes can be especially dangerous because they dont know how to control their venom. I got bit by a baby one which is stronger. When you asked him about what happened, did he talk about being scared . Was he really frightened about what happened. He said he was more startled than frightened. And mom said that she was quite surprised by his composure because she got there soon after, the friends parents called him. And he was pretty composed.
