Tonight students are being warned to be vigilant. Both of those incidents happened just 20 minutes apart in the same area on escondido road. Ktvu Azenith Smith is live with the latest. Azenith, both women in these cases describe the same suspect . Reporter police tell me they are reinterviewing the women. Give these a given these assaults happened right in front of the dorms. Reporter police are making their presence known near escondido road following two groping incidents on campus friday night. Its always pretty horrible to hear about. And i know it because i live right down there happening pretty close too. Reporter the sophomore lives near this place. The suspect is still on the loose. Its a little scary thinking they could be just like a student in one of my classes. Like you never know. Reporter police have released limited information about the assaults. Their first one happened friday night at 10 40 in the evening on escondido road. A man groped a woman while walking. The suspect is described as a bald white man approximately five feet six inches tall. Then 20 minutes later a second assault a few blocks away. The victim a female jogging. The suspect had a similar description, but was wearing different clothes. Police have not said if it is the same man. I just think it is interesting both descriptions are similar. Whenever i hear anything like that happening on stanfords campus, i immediately get frustrated and im tired. That deputy went to the hospital with minor injuries. 34yearold justin sadderfield in mill valley was arrested on suspicion of dui. One person was killed in a multicar crash on interstate 280 in san jose last night. It happened right here as one of the cars overturned and burst into flames. This is a rather spectacular collision. Alameda county firefighters were able to help out this weekend with a rather unusual rescue. And a cute one. They pulled 11 ducklings from the storm drain in newark. And they put them in a five gallon bucket. This video was posted on instagram as you can see the firefighters, they were then releasing the tiny birds in a nearby creek.
