Police . Alyssa right now they really dont know much. Theyre in the very beginning of this investigation. But what we do know is that someone shot and killed a 19year old male outside near the corner of blemont street and wright street in North Las Vegas. Police have not released his identity yet. Police say it happened right here on the street in front of this red truck. They got the call around 12 40 this morning. And when police arrived. They found a 19year old male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to umc. Whe later died. The whole block was taped off for hours as police continued to investigate this morning. At this point. Theyre looking for a small blue pickup truck that they think was involved. Or may know something about who was involved. They dont have any other descripion of a suspect at this time. Its really early in the investigation right now. Detectives are still conducting interviews with witnesses and family members and theyre trying to get to the bottom of what occured prior to this shooting. Random act. They say more than likely the 19 yearold was targeted. Again. Their biggest lead is a small blue pickup truck. But we believe this was an intentional act nypd officers, including members of the counterterrorism squad, are on the scene along with fbi agents and Police Helicopters with searchlights. Police searching for more potential explosives, and nearby streets are closed. But metro is calling on the publics help to find a robbery suspect. Police say this man robbed two valley businesess friday. The first robbery happened at a business near east sunset and sandhill.
