State police in the poconos say a woman spotted frein near his Old High School friday night and they do believe this is a highly credible lead in this ongoing investigation. Reporter natasha, it has been more than a month for the trail is far from cold much this new siting close to where he spent his teenaged years could be a sign that frein is running out of places to hide. The search has a new targeted area after a walker had a face to face encounter with a man friday night that authorities believe is frein. It was reported in the area of the Pocono Mountain East High School. The individuals description was consistent with frein and he was observed carrying a rifle. Reporter police say the man came within 20 feet of the witness and even though his face was covered in mud, they believe this is a credible spotting. Frein would be in familiar territory he attend Pocono Mountain East High School and had several jobs in the area. I think weve kept a tremendous am of pressure on him and i think likely had some bearing on where hes at now. If assuming that it is him. Reporter police say on september 12th 14 ambush two troopers at the Blooming Grove barrack fatal the shooting Corporal Brian Dixon and wounding trooper alex douglas. Investigators believe free has been collecting food to survive by breaking into cabins in a ban daned houses. Right now theyre awaiting lab results after two reports this week of blood on residents back porches. Cbs news correspondent Chris Van Cleve picks up the story. Reporter searchers found human remains just before noon saturday on abandoned property about 8 miles south of the shore lotsville campus. Police believe they are those of 18 year old Hannah Graham whose been missing for more than a month. Thousands of hours have been spent by literally hundreds of Law Enforcement and civilian volunteers in an effort to find hannah. We think perhaps today proved their worth. Reporter the university of virginia sophomore disappeared in the early hours of septembe september 13th after a night out with friends. Graham was last seen on Surveillance Video with 32 year old jesse matthew, jr. , a local taxi cab driver. Matthew turned himself in when he was named a person of interest then fled. He was arrested september 24th in galveston, texas hes charged with abduction with intent to defile or sexually assault. Grahams parents issued a plea for her short return shortly after she is disappear disappeared. Please, please, please help end this nightmare for all of us. Thousands of searchers scowered the woods near the charlottesville campus on foot horseback and even used a drone to cover about a 200 square mile area. Investigators are working to try to determine what sparked this deadly fire. Now this isnt the wake up call that hotel guests had in mind here. A car crashed in a first floor room at the country inn in sweets in us wisconsin. To people were inside at the time. But they were not hurt. The driver also escaped serious injuries as well. Other hotel guests had to be evacuated and moved to other rooms. Police believe the driver fell asleep at the wheel. Syrian activists at least eight people died after u. S. Now the winds have kicked up out of the west to northwest sustain about 10 to 15 miles per hour. Thats going start to bring in some colder air. Not terribly cold just yet but the wind does make it feel chilly mid 50s currently over most locations. We have the wind off through the Delaware Valley<\/a> mixing up atmosphere no particular spot thats really cold right now. Off to the north and west though were talking about mid 40s in cleveland and buffalo. That core of coldest air will continue to rotate into the mid atlantic and northeast over the next 12 to 24 hours. Storm scan3 is pretty quiet for the Delaware Valley<\/a> clear skies especially in south jersey and delaware. Few more clouds north and west of the city. Thicker cloud cover over central pennsylvania upper level disturbance in the jet stream thats moving through. Thats also reinforcing the cold air. We did have a cold front move through our region earlier today that kicked up the winds. Now were dealing with one of the coolest air masses weve seen this fall season arriving tomorrow and certainly tomorrow night and check this out. Freeze watch will go in effect for 3am monday morning for the poconos. So tomorrow night temperatures up there at or below freezing. It looks like well be seeing widespread 30s across the Delaware Valley<\/a> tomorrow night. Theres that dip in the jet stream. That core of the cold air spills into you are area tomorrow. It settles right on top of us. High temperatures a good 10 degrees below average. Then the jet flattens out for the middle of the week that means milder temperatures return but then by the end of the week were seeing another trough develop the cold pocket of air moves through that will be a storm system that also brings some showers to our forecast and it will ab slow moving system as well. Lot of foal foliage to check out right now actually past peak up in Northern New England<\/a> but closer to home in the peck notice looks like were peaking right now. So tomorrow is a good day to check out some of that fall color if you want to. Even around the philadelphia area starting to see moderate color. In the suburbs even to the south in delaware and southern new jersey. Now tomorrow morning waking up to some cloud cover initially but well clear out nicely. Windy threw the day and much colder with temperatures in the 50s. Some sunshine to start off your monday. Then were back to clouds moving on in. Here come those showers thats the initial storm system moving on in tuesday it look like well be dealing with a period of some wet weather through the middle of the week. Tomorrows highs struggle to get into the mid 50s. It will be stuck in the fours in the mountains. Certainly tomorrow night it will be cold in the 30s. Monday starts warming up a little bit but still below average. Well get to about 60 degrees for the afternoon high. Its breezy and chilly overnight for center city. 48.
