Reporter well, this is certainly not your ordinary search and rescue operation today. There is no doubt about that. But after a very dangerous mission, a mans life was saved in the end. At about 6 00 p. M. , the Fire Department ghana search and rescue mission at ninth and pike in hunting park. After a man was found trapped in a 18inch sewer pipe. That somehow he wounds up in the sewer hole, whether or not he someone removed it or he was, you know, we dont know exactly how he wounds up there. The investigation into how the man ended up in the sewer, seconds, in desperate attempt to save his life. Pgw crews on the site, assisting in the search, but after more than an hour and a half, on a very hot day, neighbors watching grew more and more concerned. It has been a couple of hours, and i really was hoping for the best because he had been down therefore such a long time. We seen them running to different holes to see if they could find him, but if they find him alive hes life. Outburst of applause after the man trapped 10 feet underground lodge in the 18inch pipe, finally pulled to safety alive. We got a glimpse of crews hustling him onto a stretcher, and rushing him to the hospital. Fire officials explained the intrinsic dangerous detail surrounding the rescue operation. Five people are hurt after a truck crashes into the magee rehab building on race street. Were told that truck was in the building parking garage when it crashed into a reception area in the lobby. Three women and two men were taken to Hahnemann University hospital. We know one of the men is in serious condition. The others are in stable condition. No word tonight on what caused that crash. The search is underway tonight for a Police Impersonator in montgomery county. Springfield Township Police say this unmarked van was flashing lights stopped a car tuesday night near church and brent roads in or lands. Police ran the license plate and the van came back registered to Charles Grossman of whitemarsh township. He is a full time lock smith and part time officer with the spca. Police are calling him a person of interest. When we have vehicles driving around with emergency lights, and then sim floor a police vehicle, that is a concern for us.
