Monday night, just after 11 30, this van, Philadelphia Police say was making his way north on roosevelt boulevard, outer lanes, and at some point this likely early 2,000 model chevy venture struck and killed 17 year old mikhail a jackson. It was an accident, let the judge deal with that, but as of right now, do the right thing, according to scripture, turn yourself in, plead your cause, but dont do a hitandrun. It is not good. Police say she was crossing adams avenue in the crosswalk and with the green light, it appears she was on her cell phone. The impact launched her out of her slippers and tossed her almost 200 feet. The van, were told, just kept going eason adam, never stopping, a clear violation of the law. All the drive her to do at that point was stop, because the driver had a green light. Congress heard from controller officials wednesday, who said delays are getting worse, because there are not enough train controllers. The number of air Traffic Controllers is at 27year low, part of the problem stems from a 2013 hiring freeze, due to the congressional budget battle. This again will remain to be seen whether it holds together, and a lot of cloud cover developing in advance of it, so, not necessarily see really strong thunderstorms, but could easily be some that fire up as the afternoon progresses, actually awaiting area of low pressure to streak southeast as the system continues to push through.
