So there is precipitation out there, generally a quarter of an inch or less will be the amounts that anybody is going to be getting out of this but lets get a closer view here and you can see some towns, pottstown picking up those showers that are also in there as well. We will be watching for these showers abe a chance that some of them hang together and we will pick up a scattered shower throughout the philadelphia area. Investigators are working to determine if a home owner was ago nothing selfdefense or malice when he open fire killing a father of two. Reporter if you look at this case it gets in toy a whole host of issues but at the very top level, prosecutors will now have to determine if this was a case of simple selfdefense or if this was a case of over aggression and use of excessive force. That is when and where a 56 yearold man tells police he sees a man break nothing to his pickup truck on Surveillance Video. Police say man confronts the thief and shoots him in the head before calling police. The the shooting victim we would later find out is a 30 yearold new jersey man father of two, his friend say he was just mistaken possibly mistaken the truck for his own and case of mistaken identity. The the shooter has since come forward, handed his gun to police, hand that had Surveillance Video over to police and said he was defending himself and that property. Prosecutors will now have to make that determination. Meanwhile, we spoke to a neighbor who lives nearby. If they are breaking into his property i dont see why he could not defend himself. He should aloud to deeven if himself. That is just the way it is. What else can you do shot or be shot. Reporter prosecutors will also look at the the expanded Castle Doctrine in this case. Officers rush him to einstein hospital, the victim remains there this morning in critical condition. Homicide detectives kept busy this time in a deadly shooting in philadelphias juniata neighborhood. Police were called to the 1500 block of east luzerne street late last night, a man in his 30s was shot twice in the head while on the streets. Victim was rushed to Temple University hospital where he was pronounced dead. So far there are in arrests. More than a dozen people are recovering from neck and back pain after a septa bus accident in montgomery county. Police say that the route 55 bus was making a stop on old york road in cheltenham when it was rear ended by a pepsi truck friday afternoon. The passenger of the truck was injured and minor injuries on the bus. Medics treated the driver of the bus and about 19 passengers. The suspect entered the restaurant on frankford avenue around 10 00 oclock wednesday night. He had a gun and demanded money from the register. Suspect got away with 162 no one was injured. Now to another robbery in mayfair at around 2 00 this morning, two men robbed the red robin diner, also on frankford avenue. American airlines is expanding its fee for unaccompanied minors. Starting next month the carrier will charge 150 for children between five and 14 years old who fly alone. That fee previously applied only to children five to 11. American says extending this fee will help ensure the most safe possible travel. Meanwhile more people will be flying over the the Labor Day Weekend compared to last year, according to airlines for america which expects 14 million travelers, up 2 percent from 2013. Triple a forecast that almost 35 million americans will travel at least 50 miles from home by car or plane. That is up 1. 3 percent compared to last year. Just watch for this, these will be drifting around but they are in the here the entire weekend. They will leave, tomorrow looks like a much better day as High Pressure starts to build in but it is cool, damp today. Yesterday we stopped in the 70s. Today our temperatures will stop in the 07s as well with this low pressure system and these upper level disturbances going by. That is why we are triggering these showers. Temperatures getting several Degrees Higher right around 80 degrees and with this wind coming in like this we have an enhanced risk of rip current as well. If you are going to the beach you do want to make note of that.
