We will get some rain for our area, mainly tomorrow, in the form of some showers, storms, but at least in the talking about excessive heat this weekend, still hot, humid, up around 90 degrees. I think were used to it by now. Some relief in site in our forecast. Outside right now, nice quiet start to our saturday morning, a go for that morning work out. Just battle the humidity around the city. Not quite humid yet to the far northwest suburbs, but you will feel the difference later this afternoon, keep things dry throughout the morning hours, check out temperatures, generally upper 60s to about 70 degrees across south jersey, delaware, dover checking in at 72, nice start to the jersey shore, delaware beaches, low and mid 70s, 74 rehoboth beach. Seventy up in cherry hill, up around philadelphia similar numbers. Then we cool off north and wells, as typical for northwest suburbs, quakertown, one of the cooler spots at 64 degrees, 66 ambler, and 57 up in mount pocono. Now, talk about the humidity, on the rise little bit compared to the past few days, nothing terrible. We can handle this. Not as bad as it was few days ago. Dew point right now 69 degrees, so that does put it in the oppressive mode here, and thats going to really stay like that throughout the rest of the week. Humidity down to the 50s, something to look for the to if you dont like the recent weather weve been dealing with. Couple stray showers breaking out western pennsylvania, maybe stray shower later this afternoon, but most areas stay dry, eventually, tomorrow afternoon, we start to see our next round of some widespread showers and thunderstorms, as a cold front approaches. Good beach day today, mostly sunny skies, at the jersey shore, high temperatures up around 86 degrees, later this morning, then the sea breeze will kick in little bit this afternoon, east winds 10 Miles Per Hour, ocean water comfortable at 72 degrees, still watching the tropics, starting to heat up as is typical for the second half of august. Tropical storm fiona, moving westnorthwest at 13. Here is the track. To the wells northwest, weakens into tropical depression, and whatever remnants are left next week should remain out over the open waters of the atlantic, probably head northward toward bermuda, a probably not Strong Enough to bring increase in waves to the jersey shore, so you wont know effect from fiona. Sunny skies today, upper 80s to 90 degrees. Here coals the cold front, mainly tomorrow afternoon, temperatures again the 80s, once this front passes, we really drop our highs, actually, going below average, starting monday, humidity drops very dry, and nice conditions ahead for the second half of august next week. So, lets time things out. Today sunshine mixed when few clouds around, tonight keep things dry, tomorrow morning is dry. It is mid afternoon we start to see couple of showers, thunderstorms fire up. That will continue through the afternoon into the evening hours, and eventually overnight, those showers come to an end. So there is a marginal risk for severe storms tomorrow afternoon, for the areas here in green, the exception, far eastern new jersey, about 5 chance, hot today, near 90 for the inland spot, muggy tonight, six offs, 70s, tomorrow still on the warm side, mid upper 80s, little cooler because of the showers coming on in. But today, just battling the humidity, partly sunny skies, up around 90 degrees, stays muggy tonight, partly cloudy, 74 for the city. Little cooler in the suburbs. The extended forecast, just got to get through today and tomorrow. If you dont like the heat and humidity.
