Lieutenant Jamal Johnson a 18 yearold lieutenant, while on duty on his shift but in his pickup truck offduty police say johnson posing as a Police Officer kidnaped a woman near 13th and rust comb street and then sexually assaulted her. At some point in time throughout the the conversation she asks whether or not she will be arrested. He indicates he is a Police Officer and she with the not be arrested if she performs these ago. Surgery and least coverry were a breeze compared to the pain that follows, when the the bills started add arriving. They said, you know, your responsibility was the whole amount. Reporter when she saw the bill for 1743, kimberly knew something was wrong. She started to make calls and filing appeals. It just, kept coming back as denied, and kept coming back we were responsible for the full amount. Reporter aetna insisted that the family had not met deductible and doctor was out of network but kimberly says that was wrong. No matter what you kept saying it didnt make sense to anybody but nobody could change anything. Reporter collection agencies started to come after the family kimberly called three on your side. We called aetna who admitted there had been a administrative mistake. I make one call to cbs3 and amazing how quickly common sense made a come back. Reporter aetna corrected the problem and family is now responsible for 348. Simple issue that shouldnt have taken six months, to address and fix. Im very glad that it is better now. Reporter now aetna told us there was a mistake that the id number for the facility where chloe had her surgery was incorrect, it was an administrative oversight. Experts say it is always best to check with your Insurance Company before getting a procedure, just like kim did to make sure everything is covered and if possible get it in writing.
