Alycia, thank you. Kate bilo joins us now with our forecast, and, all right, break it down, break it down, 70s, 30s, 50s, 20s, maybe some snow. We have a little bit of everything. Yes, these storms tomorrow is what you want to focus on first. Tomorrow we have threat for Severe Weather. Storms are getting underway in the midwest and they are nasty under a moderate risk there and we have tornado warnings active across portions of illinois. It doesnt look like it will bet that bass tomorrow but it is same system for tomorrow afternoon, that is what will eventually put an end to this extreme warmth. We have actually tied a record today here in philadelphia way high of 68. We will make a run for record tomorrow which is 76. We will do it within a degree or two. Then everything changes. We will see that it is still winter at least for next 21 days or so. Lets look outside, start off on storm scan three, lots here , one batch of rain mainly moving to the south of us, south of the pennsylvania border but we are seeing rain in the city. Portions of delaware and chester counties. You can see that extend down to the gulf coast. That is first impulse that is coming through this evening. So, right now we are starting to see steady downpours. You saw greg there in radnor township, portions of Montgomery County into chester and delaware counties and right about poised to move over i95 in New Castle County delaware we have steady downpours right now that is impacting Center City Philadelphia waiting for someone to get home they may be delayed thanks to the rain that has picked up. But worst of it tonight is what is happening across midwest, these storms just getting underway. You can see these super cell thunderstorms. We have tornado warnings especially with that one just south and west of chicago. These will join in tie squall line later tonight and into tomorrow morning and some of that may even survive and get here in the much weakened state tomorrow morning. Heres what this looks like. Through next couple of hours we have some steady rain and downpours. This model is too slow with it this is what we have right now but this could continue for next couple hours until 10 or 11. Joining us tonight at 11 00 we will track chance for showers across portions of the shore points. That clears out. Then we have to watch left overs from tonights squall line. That could move through tomorrow morning. Heres 9 00 a. M. A line of showers and thunderstorms moving across the philadelphia area into your afternoon hours we have a few discrete showers , possibly a strong thunderstorm around 2 00 p. M. Area im more concern about is later in the day. It looks like greater risk for Severe Weather will be slight liz off to the south of us, especially portions of kentucky, down into the deep south but we will get nasty, gusty thunderstorms, tomorrow evening, into this time tomorrow night five or 6 00 oclock and these storms could produce damaging winds, hail and very heavy downpours as well as frequent lightening and we have to be on alert for isolated tornado somewhere across north east midatlantic region. Heading in to friday where we have a chance for this clipper , producing some snow showers waking up friday morning and rain showers will mix in as well. Not expecting any accumulation with that but it will be very odd to see snow falling on friday morning and it is dramatic drop in the weekend from 70s tomorrow to barely 40, on saturday. So overnight mild with showers and fog, for your wednesday, near record with those strong to severe thunderstorm especially in the afternoon but we cannot rule out thunderstorm anytime with that batch in the morning. Another batch midday, friday morning we will wake up for chance for snow showers and then we can end, quiet, chilly saturday, warmer sunday but we will see some sun. Glad you are keeping track of it you will it all because im like. No showers. Changing system. Is what coming up next. Were talking hoops. Joel embiid has competition for rookie of the year and it comes from one of his teammates. Plu
