A serious crash sends a woman to the hospital in Critical Condition this morning, crash happened just before 12 45, at old york road and west luzerne street in the city hunting park section, three cars were involved, woman taken to Temple University hospital in Critical Condition. No word on what may have caused that crash. Man is dead after shooting in north philadelphia. The shooting happened in the 2400 block of germantown avenue. Now, that man was shot several times in the stomach, and in the back, he was taken to temple hospital and pronounced dead just after 1 30 this morning. Police have not made any arrests, so far, they have not said what may have led up to the shooting. And police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead on the 7400 block of stenton avenue east mt. Airy, just after 9 00 last night, man in his late 20s was found shot several times. Police took him to einstein, but he died a short time later. No arrest haves been made. And no word on a possible suspect or motive. Well, its been ten years since the College Basketball team has won backtoback national titles. Chuck berry known for hits like johnny be good, has died. Johnny be good berry died in his home near st. Louis, missouri yesterday. He suffered a medical emergency. Berry is remembered as one of the first people to be inducted into the rockandroll hall of fame. His songs may bell even, sweet little 16, went onto influence other big names in rock. Check out storm scan3, if you go down to say middletown or delaware, light snow showing up on radar, doesnt mean it is reaching the grounds, but looks like the dover air, getting light snow, changes over to rain, southern half of kent county, delaware, upper maryland seeing light snow, delaware bay over to south jersey, cape may county, seeing some rain. Give it few hours. Little disturbance in the upper atmosphere, passing by to the south and west, will move off shore later this morning. Temperatures for the most part are above freezing. Eyewitness News Reporter anita oh, live along Market Street in old city this morning, anita, high traffic area for walkers, so how passable are the sidewalks there right now . Reporter well, jan, really depends on who you ask and where you are. Most of that snow is piled upright near the crosswalk, so people are having to maneuver around those mounds to get around. But here on Market Street, in old city, you can see that one every these piles of snow is actually blocking an entire lane of traffic. This is of course days after our most recent snowstorm. But frustration is continuing to build over these piles of snow. It is blocking crosswalks, in some parts of the sidewalks here in philadelphia. The city spokesperson told Eyewitness News that workers met the most urgent goal of making roads passable, shortly after the storm, and on saturday, 30 trucks made their rounds again, to clear more snow from curbs, and to salt the roadways. But many were still left to maneuver around the mounds. I would like to accordingly invite mayor ken toy come and cross the street at any one every these intersections. A lot of people here walking still got a lot of snow out here. It is kinds of dangerous, especially for the senior citizens. And if you have a request for snow removal, you can call 311. Well, flowers are being placed at chuck berrys star on hollywoods walk of fame. The rockandroll pioneer died at his home in st. Louis, missouri saturday. He was 90 years old. Cbs Danielle Nottingham takes a look back at the life of this legendary musician. It is the mid 50s, and chuck berry was at the height of his success, pioneering a new sounds rockandroll. He had his own driving guitar style, using country western with rhythm and blues. With his gift in guitar, and energetic moves, he pushed down racial barriers, playing to a mostly white teenage audience. Berrys hits including johnny be good and sweet little 16 didnt just thrill teenagers. Influenced rocks biggest packs. Barry grew up in st. Louis and shaking things up even as a kid, during first Public Performance at a high school he considered blues, considered inapropriate for the time. Barry married, worked series every jobs to support his family. Then road trip to chicago to see his idol mother proved to be his big break. In 1984, barry took home the Lifetime Achievement grammy, two years later, Keith Richard through him big of zeros birthday bash. He was one of the first inductees into the rockandroll hall of fame.
