The driver was pulling the toll way van, and the trolley goon sway and over turn. Injuries are not life threatening. Investigators with the ntsb have interviewed the engineer of new Jersey Transit train. That crashed in hoboken. That crash killed a woman on the platform and injured more than 100 other people. Reporter source familiar with the investigation tells cbs news after months of concern after leadership vacuum at new Jersey Transit, federal regulators launched deep audit of the Agency Operations in june. It discovered dozen of safety violations. Regulators were preparing to implement additional scrutiny and enforcement measures prior to thursdays accident. New Jersey Transit did not responds to our requests for comment. Late saturday, the trains engineer Thomas Gallagher ducked into the garage at his new jersey home, after meeting with investigators.
