Matt, thank you. Following breaking news this morning, out of the citys wynnefield section. Three people are dead, after an Early Morning house fire there. Eyewitness News Reporter joe hole send live near the scene, on diamond street. Joe, whats the update . Fire crews out are out here, the fire marshall here, at this point the fire is not appearing to be suspicious. This broke out just around 5 00 this morning, in the 5400 block of diamond street. We have confirmed that three people died. Two of them, apparently, in their eights, there is no age yet on the thirds person, fourth person, who was in the home, was taken to Lankenau Hospital for treatment. Flames were shooting from out front, and rear windows, on both the first and second floors. We spoke to the deputy fire commissioner, short time ago. Fire was showing on the first floor, heavy in the rear. So companies quickly went into surveys, aggressive interior attack, and the results are what they were. So a tragedy for these folks up here. Tragedy for us citywide. As you can imagine, word beginning to spread in the neighborhood about who may have died in this fire. Neighbors are out, of course, just a little bit of shock here. Certainly a tragedy waking to up hear that three people now dead in a fire that started certainly after 5 00 this morning, again, fire officials telling us, it is to does not appear to be subs pushes. Such sad news this morning, joe, okay, thank you. Keep us uptodate. This morning, police are looking for the gunman who shot nine people in north philadelphia. The shooting unfolded at 23rd and hunting around 10 30 last night. The group was reportedly at a gathering or Party Outside when the shooter opened fire. Two of the victims are now in critical condition. Police are also trying to figure out the shooters motive. At approximately 10 30 p. M. , when the officers responded to 911 call for report of shooting, they arrived on location, found several victims. Most of the victims were transported to area hospitals. Of the victims it, most of the victims were place in the stable condition, two of the victims placed in critical condition. At this point, we have no motive or suspects. Police say the victims are in their late teens, to mid 20s. Philadelphia is l and i department; investigate a deck collapse, in roxborough, injured 11 people. Police say 16 people were on that rear deck, on the 8800 block every ridge avenue, when it gave way last night. No one thankfully was seriously hurt there. This morning, a mother is pleading with her community to help finds the men who shot her two year old son. The boy was sitting with his father on their poor in kensington, when two gunmen owned fire there. Eyewitness News Reporter alicia has this mothers message. Bullet holes, riddled the outside of the home on malta street in kensington where friday night a father and son were shot. The father, 26 years old, the son, just two. His mother, identifying him as her only child, price johnson. If anyone has seen something on malta street yesterday at 9 00 could you please come forwards. He didnt de is her of this. She was working her ups job whether two men fired shot at her son when he was in his fathers arms on their front porch. I when i asked him what happened, he said im scared, daddy fell down. Shot twice in the leg twice in the arm. He was immediately rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Everyone on the block loves him very much. He is a sweet kid. Hes in there fighting right now. Despite a massive manhunt minutes after the shooting . Got all kind of officers, you know, plane clothes, marked, we have our aviation unit. Philadelphia police say theyve not made any arrests. Authorities have had few witnesses, willing to come forward. Today she is getting some comfort and help from this woman, who lost her brother to gun violence in kensington. Hes going doortodoor, pleading with people, to speak up. Whole mentality of the whole snitching thing has got to go. You know, any time a two year old gets hit, somebodys got to speak up. When we were over on malta street in kensington, after about an hour and a half, we were eventually able to find a witness, who didnt want to use his name, or show his face, but he says, that two men came down the street, on bikes, and they had the time to stop, look at the father, and son, and yell this is our block. Happening today, crews will be back on the Delaware River, theyre is her clinic for a 16 year old who disappeared after jumping into the river on friday. The teenagers family has identified him as 16 year old antoine fox, he and some friends jumped into the Delaware River near Pleasant Hill on friday night. Thats when they became caught in the current. Fox never made it back to shore, crews have spent all day looking for him. Firefighters continue to battle a wild fire in wharton state for necessary burlington county. While the flames are now 50 contained, they did scorch nearly 300 acres there, evesham fire rescue sent us this photo of the fire burning off route 206 near ding he will town road in barts bridge. Staffers at the new Jersey Forest Fire Services medford tower spotted the fire around 9 45 saturday morning. No houses are in danger there. The cause of the fire is now under investigation. Helicopter off Linden Airport, it crashed, fell on its sides, the Linden Airport director says instructor and student were on the helicopter, they were not hurt. The chopper, only had minor damage. On february 20th, 2003, 100 people lost their lives in 200 other were injured. We will be just seeing some regular run of the mill showers, sweeps through on our monday, for our sunday before that system rolls in, it will be pretty nice. Now, there were some reports of maybe few light sprinkles in a few areas, but overall, we will be dry through the morning, and dry throughout the day. Now, we are waking up, cool across the Delaware Valley, 40s, even still toward mount pocono, trenton as welcoming in at 49 degrees. The shore points, some lower 50s, 54, for us right now, in center city. So again, it is a morning where you need the light jacket. If youre headed outside at all this morning, take it with you, because it is going to be a cool start to the day. Now, we will remain below average throughout the afternoon. Even though we will see a little bit more sunshine, we actually could get maybe some southerly flow, but it will be the southeast winds. It will be coming offer the water, where the water still in the 50s, cool breeze, thats going to be coming on shore. So Atlantic City, wildwood, High Temperatures today, kind of in the low to mid 60s range. Goat about 69 looks like here in center city. Actually isnt too bad. You head further north inland, lancaster, reading, even in toward mount pocono, below average, it will be a little bit warmer than maybe some of the shore points coming in there into the high 60s, toward the poconos. So, overall, it is not a bad day for us. As we take a look at the work week though, there is our cold front. There is the low thats going to be firing up the showers, thunderstorms, throughout our monday, that front comes all the way through, as we go through monday night, by the time wet get into tuesday, looking at generally quiet conditions, it will be warm for our tuesday, thats some good news for us, return to springlike temperatures. But, our next system, right on the heals every all of the nice weather, another area of low pressure comes out of the ohio river valley, showers, thunderstorms, for us wednesday, as warmfront starts to approach, we could look for another rounds every showers, and on thursday, we could also see, maybe little bit after break in the cloud cover at times late in the day on thursday. Colds front gets all the way through the region by the time we head into friday. And that will leave us with a mix every sunday and clouds, to ends the work week, but we could also see maybe little bit of a northerly flow, maybe little cooler toward the ends of the work week as well. Still should be pretty nice. High temperature of 69 today. Thunderstorms come in tomorrow with the colds front as we get up to 76. Sun and clouds tuesday, 75 for the High Temperature there, continuing with our spring like conditions. Another chance for shower or two on wednesday. That will maybe linger into thursday, as women. We do see our temperatures stay in that low to about mid possibly high 70 range on wednesday and thursday. Starting to clear out by friday. And then next weekends, another system rolls in.
