millions of refugees to pour in here, that will be the end of the kurdish presence here. so, yes, temporarily today it's a little better. but the long-term future is absolutely terrifying for the kurdish people right now. >> also tell us what you know about what the kurds said earlier today. they warned of further isis prison breaks. what more do we know about that? >> so amid -- amid this conflict, there is the isis question. and the isis question is really at the core of all this. it is isis that -- that started this -- this -- this tension, if you will. because a few years ago, 2014, the united states came and made its alliance with the kurds here in northern syria because of isis. the -- the -- the u.s. was looking for a partner to fight against isis. isis was spreading all around the world. it was exporting terrorism. and the kurds made a partnership with the u.s. military.
