It is an absolutely devastating and standing situation. People are dealing with a law. It includes physical damage, emotional damage, and psychological damage, as well. Hundreds of thousands have been sleeping out in the open. We have been hearing from our colleagues and partners, people are scared to go back inside. Mediterranean needs at the moment are huge. Lets say the Rescue Operations, which we just heard about, they are hampered by damaged roads and bridges. As we know, the high Atlas Mountains are not an easy access, even on the best of days. The mountains, some of the towns in these Mountain Areas which are very heavily impacted are very difficult to access. As the search and Rescue Operations are proceeding, the humanitarian action in morocco is really well coordinated by local authorities and various agencies coordinated to respond to the Emergency Needs of people especially vulnerable groups such as women and girls. You have helped with Earthquake Response in places such as india, indonesia, as well. These are, in certain instances, more rural. When you think about the epicenter of this quake, as you just mentioned, some of which, areas where they are harder to access. What is the plan to reach the people in need their . Those who may need help . Absolutely. First and foremost, for the buildings near the epicenter, they were not built. They were not built to withstand shaking of this level. Many of the roads are filled with boulders, and rubble, this makes it more difficult. Right now we essentially need all hands on deck so we can support care morocco and so many other ngos with medical facilities. We have to work parallel with certain Rescue Operations and helping people with immediate needs which include hot meals, safe drinking water, emergency shelter. Medical needs, hygiene capacity. Especially helping men and girls. And lets say this is the immediate thing. The other thing i have learned from our engagement with various and grace across others in turkey and other parts in the world there is a lot of attention in holiday when the headlines failed a needs of the people are not being served fully. We need to continue supporting not only the immediate but also the recovery helping people to rebuild their lives. Many have lost everything. A former trump chief of staff, mark meadows, filing a notice to appeal a judges decision but denied a request to move to federal court. That could, potentially, cast doubt on for hesitant on trumps chances of wanting to do the same. The decision is coming amidst a release of reports by the initial Special Grand Jury in Fulton County. It revealed, you can see the list, theyre 21 edition of people reprimanded for trying to but not ultimately indicted. That list includes current South Carolina senator, lindsey graham. Ford or florida senator Kelly Loeffler and david perdue, as well. Responding to this release just yesterday. I called around different states, including georgia, as a sitting United States senator, chairman of the judiciary committee. I eventually certify the election in all states, including georgia. I did not find any evidence of mass voter fraud. I did have concerns about the mailin ballot system. We cannot criminalize senators doing their job when they have a constitutional Work Ornament to fulfill. We are opening up pandoras box here. Kelly loeffler and david perdue have also denied wrongdoing. We want to bring in the current host of the Talking Feds Podcast to talk about this. We want to ask you a few things, harry. First and foremost, what does this indicate to you . Right . We know mark meadows it will appeal the judges decision to move the case to federal court. What does it say to you about the trajectory here . The initial decision from the judge to deny meadows requests a to move the thing federal . Its mainly says to me is the other five people who are planning to do it, three georgia electors, jeff clark, and trump, almost certainly have very little chance of exceeding, because the reasoning that the judge used, if you apply it even superficially to the Conduct Charge against those other five in the indictment. They are, it really doesnt fly at all. Its an interesting situation, however, because back in Fulton County, dodge mcafee said maybe he needs to let the whole removal process play out, including appeals. He has a right to an appeal. The other five will as well, to avoid the uncommonly situation if the 11th circuit i this, and they are now being tried. So, the second thing its adjusts to me is we may now be having three groups. The first to, first speedy trial, everyone else, and the six people who have had been fighting, who will be fighting for removal. I think they wont make it. And when you talk about three, four, iterations of a fourmonth trial, it starts to get pretty head spinning. Yeah. That is exactly what i was thinking, how much of a headache this is, really, to manage for the Fulton County the asa are taking a look at this thing, the scope of it all, really. At which point you ask a grand jury to give alimited endorsement of saying there is probable cause. This was the opposite, because of the Special Grand Jury. First, they say there is probable cause.
