Today the lawyers called the conditions of his parole unreasonable and unlawful and in fact, they have petitioned to court to have those conditions changed at this point. Now this happened near partsons boulevard and rose avenue in flushing just before 7 00 this morning. Police say a motorcyclist slammed into a 77yearold person crossing the street. The victim taken to the hospital in critical condition. Court appearance today for the third man accused of killing a teacher in new jersey. Police say ebenezer bird and two other men murdered 33year old Janelle Melton in 2009. Investigators claim the suspects planned to burglarize an empty apartment but broke into her apartment by mistake all three suspects are being held on 1. 5 million bail. Now the dentist who has been arrested his name is john wolf. He was apprehended earlier today at his west Village Apartment along charles street. Now a raid meanwhile though in his Chelsea Office lasted much of the morning. As fbi officials unloaded files and even luggage from his office. Wolf is accused of providing providing dental services to a drug dealer in exchange for methamphetamines which he would use but also distribute. But even more frightening, hes accused od using his office to some of which showed today hers being raped showed toddlers being raped by adult men. At this point theyre concerned about other victims in the case and also investigating whether some underaged patients were videotaped here at the office along west 15th street. No one wanted to speak with us this morning. Many of them seemed completely offguard by this revolting kind of news. Now his family is wellknown and generally well respected. Detectives reportedly went back to look for clothing the suspected killer was seen wearing in surveillance photos. So far, no one is under arrest. A salmonella outbreak licked to imported cucumbers has sickened more than 100 people in the u. S. Including several cases in our area. The cdc says more than 800 people have been sickened and four People Killed after eating the tainted cucumbers from mexico. The outbreak affecting 38 states including new york and connecticut where a total of seven people have become ill. And andrew and williamson Fresh Produce and Custom Produce sales are recalling the cucumbers that may have been contaminated. The School Superintendent in hartford, connecticut is apologizing for a Training Exercise that identified special needs students with stickers. Administrators at the sam school say they placed green stickers on students with special needs yellow ones on children still learning english. Any child with special needs that also needed help learning english was given a blue sticker. The intention was actually the right intention to try to understand how we better meet the needs of our english language learners and students with special needs in our classrooms. Bobs daughter grabbed his phone and called 911. In the end though both thieves got away. Police are looking for them. Also a thief who broke into a home in florida was caught redhanded. By a phone app. David nash says after two prior burglaries to his home he needed to do something. So he bought a digital camera connected to an app called canary. The app soon after alerted nash someone was in the home and then the camera captured clear images of the suspects face and a tattoo on his neck. The pictures helping to lead to the arrest of
