In 2013, the workers took the shipyard to federal court for pay and discrimination and harrasment claims. The women alleged widespread sexual harrasment and systematic discrimination by managers and supervisors, who were nearly all men. The company denied any wrongdoing at the time, but agreed to settle the case. Under the agreement, bae is expected to pay employees who worked for the company between october 2thousand7 and december 2014 more than three Million Dollars.
