Staff wants more diversity. 60 of the students are black. 7 white and 18 hispanic. Only 170 students are in the magnet program. Theres room to grow. We still have a number of openings in our program and our goal and dream is to get the word out about tuckaseegees litd program so we have so much interest that we have a waiting list. Listen to this. The next closest Magnet School that offers the exact program as tuckaseegee elementary is about eight miles away at Irwin Academic Center and that school has a waiting list of 200.
