And jesse, the victims mother is being investigated in this case. Tell us about it. Reporter rosemary investigators with southwest detectives say thefjdvictims mother is theok ne who is responsible for putting him into his chair and taking him out of his chair again. They watch to know how its possible that this 21yearold wound up inco these woods for five days, if not longer. Q a passer by called Philadelphia Police just after 9 00 last night saying ther. a was a man in the woods. The victim is a quadriplegic who also suffers from Cerebral Palsy. Hes also nonverbal. He was found down an embankment near could be creeks parkwayq and 59th street. Investigators say his mother went to see her boyfriend in maryland sunday. Whereabouts of herq 21yearold son when he didnt show up for school on monday. Police say the mother lied to relatives about the i]sons ยค715 ajjr r t hahp hc he made an aunt believe that herself and the child whot was found here were in maryland on monday morning. I]ok apparently that wasnt true. This kid has probably been out here since monday maybe as early as sunned. This is new video we have the police retrieving the victimsq wheel chair. He was on the ground near it withe1 only a blanket and a bible. Hes in penn presbyter hospital but suffering from exposure and malnutrition. Nbc 10s George Spencer sent a cell phone video of the scene of this accident 76 east. You can see the car on its side. Those inside the car suffered only minor injuries. Police are look for the suspects wanted in thise1 attack at a philadelphia gas station. So i]far, officers have arrested two women in the case. The attack happened tuesday just outside of the sunoco on north 5th street in olney. Authorities tell us a group of men and women used a hammer a wooden beam and mason a 51yearold man. Z nr the victim was taken to Einstein Medical Center wherei] he is in critical lpcondition. While investigators have not released a motive witnesses say it appears the attackers knew the victim. Police arrested two of the women outside of the hospital where the victim is being treated. nr Shareena Joachimco and Aleathea Gillard both face attempted murder and assault charges. Health officials there are trying to get a handle on an hiv outbreak. They confirm about 100 cases in a rural portion of the state. The outbreak is linked to the sharing of intravenous needles. The suspect does have a criminal history. The fbi is now investigating allegations of Excessive Force in this case. Ten deputies have already been placed on leave. Back in our area there are now eight confirmed cases of whooping cough in the Radnor Township School district. Four more cases were confirmed at the high school this week. There have been a total of seven cases there and a Radnor Middle School student had whooping cough in february. Six of the cases involve students who were vaccinated against pertussis but still got it. This comes days after an nbc 10 investigation uncovered flaws in pennsylvanias School Vaccine surveillance system. Its designed to let state Health Officials know how many kids are immunized against contagious diseases like whooping cough. Some of the data as we founded is wrong and has not been verified.
