State police say Jose Martinez and omar galvez are responsible for the death of jennifer cruzchaves. Both men are facing several charges including murder. The womans body was found august 24th in a wooded area in fairfield township. The medical examiner says she died of bluntforce trauma. Over the last three weeks, detectives discovered the victim was last seen getting into a van with both suspects. They allegedly left a Party Together in bridgeton city. Martinez and galvez are both held in the Cumberland County jail on dln 1 million cash bail. Grief counselors on hand at a school in south philadelphia tomorrow after a teacher was found dead inside a hotel today. The woman who has not been identified was found in a bathroom inside the holiday inn on packer avenue. Politician say she had multiple stab wounds to her arms and body. Now her death is being investigated as a suicide. She taught sixth grade at key elementary. South Jersey Police department showing off the new video equipment its putting on Police Officers and patrol cars. New jersey is the first state in the nation to require Municipal Police departments to use videocameras. Cherry hill is in a Pilot Program testing out body cameras. Its been using dashboard cameras on patrol cars for decades. The goal is to stop disputes over what did and did not happen during a traffic stop. Assemblyman paul moriardi pushed for todays measure. Philadelphia city council pushed back a final vote on a plan to change the penalties for being caught with small amounts of marijuana. It was set to be voted on today, but its now set to pass next week so theres more time to implement these changes. Under the new bill, youll face a 25 fine if youre caught with fewer than 30 grams, or about an ounce. If youre smoking it in public, it will be a 100 fine or community service. And the offenses would not two on offenders permanent record. Pennsylvania may not be going out with the old and in with the new when if comes to its voting machines. State Supreme Court is deciding whether the commonwealth will add pen and paper to its mainly electronic voting system. The appeal stems from a case that argued votes cast using electronic machines leave opportunity for tampering.
