Seeing the low clouds in place, reduced visibilities. Its going to take a little while to get that fog out of here especially look the coast. Lets take a look outdoors still seeing the fog outside, and were looking at gray skies. Kind of looking soupy and murky throughout the day. Its going to take a while will ever it burns off. Cape may had the fog there all day yesterday. Currently visibility, down to two miles in Atlantic City. Doing a little bit better in mt. Holly and millville compared to an hour ago. Down to 5 miles in philadelphia. Temperatures are mild. We started out mild and were continuing to be mild and well be warm by this afternoon. 68 degrees in philadelphia. 68 in horsham. 66 in wilmington. Youre walking out the door this morning to temperatures mainly in the upper 60s. The low 70s already. 71 in reading, 70 in allentown, 70 in bluebell and 67 in coatesville. Along the coast, we have a few temperatures around 60 in beach haven and avalon. 68 in millville and 67 in mt. Holly. For today, enjoy it. After that morning fog, well see some sunshine and partly sunny skies. Possibly a few thundershowers, but very isolated. A summerlike day today, also monday and tuesday, before we find some relief in your sevenday. The 70s for a high later on this week. Well talk more about that coming up. New from overnight, two teenagers are in the hospital after a shooting on south street. Police are investigating if theres a possible connection to a shooting of a 19yearold nearby. The first shooting brought dozens of Police Officers to eighth and south streets around 115 this morning. Two teens, ages 16 and 17 were shot in the legs. Both are in stable condition. Detectives say before the gunfire, there was an argument between two groups of people. Then there was another shooting around the corner on bainbridge street. The 19yearold victim in that case is in stable condition. Detectives tell us they are now talking to a person of interest. Also new from overnight, a man is dead following a shooting in the kensington section of philadelphia. He was shot in the head around 12 30 this morning, while sitting in a car on east atlantic street. He died at the hospital. Investigators believe the driver of the car may be the shooter. Now to the deadly policeinvolved shooting in mississippi. A third person is under arrest after two officers were shot and killed during a traffic stop. The shooting happened in hattiesburg last night. According to authorities, the suspect shot the officer and then escaped in their Police Patrol car. It set off a manhunt. Over overnight, investigators caught two brothers within hours of each other. A woman who was with the brothers is also under arrest. Men and women go out every day to protect us the men and women who go out every day to make sure we are safe were turned on tonight. Overnight, we lender the names of the officers a killed. They have been identified as Benjamin Diane and liquori tate. This morning, we have new information about the baby thrown off an allentown bridge apparently by his mother. 1yearold zymeir perry died. He was thrown in by his mother who then jumped in herself. Authorities have charged the 19yearold mother with attempted murder and now the charges could be upgraded. We have new information about a family tragedy in delaware county. Yesterday, we showed you this accident where a teenager died after being neighbors tell us he was an Upper Darby High School student and had a twin sibling. Nbc 10 was outside of the house last night where friends and Community Members offered support to the family. Upper darby officials also expressed their condolences for what theyre calling a tragic accident. They can blame it on the weather. Passengers aboard a British Airways flight say they were stranded in philadelphia for hours. It was all because of the fog weve had over the past few days. The flight from london to new york was diverted to Philadelphia International airport because of the fog and low clouds late friday night. After the plane landed it sat on the runway for three hours until the airlines finally canceled the flight. Passengers incident another three hours waiting in a hallway for customs to open. Many of them including actor jeremy piven, took to social media to vent their frustration and shared these photos. The passengers eventually got on buses or trains to new york but they say they were not happy about what happened on the plane. There was nobody to help us. Stuck in coach in a dirty, smelly aircraft wasnt helping. There was no ventilation. We were all frustrated. British airways did try to work with us at some point but telling us we couldnt get up was ridiculous. People had to use the restroom. You cant deny people access to the restroom you know . A spokesperson for the airport says the divergence was not planned and customs usually opens at 5 00 a. M. A short time ago we received this statement from British Airways, it says we are very sorry for the delay to our customers journey, but safety is always our top priority. Our cabin crew and ground staff looked after them rebooking with connections and buses the new york as soon as possible. The storm made landfall in the carolinas this morning. Officials at the National Hurricane center report that ana came ashore near myrtle beach, just after 6 00 this morning. Ana is the first Tropical Storm of the season. Really the preseason because the Hurricane Season hasnt even kicked off. Experts say its biggest threat appears to be the dangerous surf and the rip tides, so theyre telling everybody to stay out of the water, including those surfers. Heavy rain and strong winds are expected throughout the day in the carolinas. And were seeing some indirect impacts of ana. Were seeing some humidity in the air, so some fog and also some clouds. It will take a little while before we get that fog completely out of here. Looking better than compared to an hour ago in philadelphia. Were still seeing gray clouds and low clouds. Well see breaks of sunshine later on this afternoon. That will help to warm the temperatures up. Were into the 60s right now. 68 in philadelphia. We finally got the sunshine out and rebounded with the temperatures yesterday. It will look a lot like that. Temperatures into the 60s and 70s, but warm by this afternoon. Watching the chance for a few isolated thunderstorms, maybe a few showers. Today and also on monday and part of tuesday also. But relief is on the way. We are tracking 70s, were tracking much cooler air for the end of the workweek. Right now, though, 68 degrees already. Were looking at cloudy skies, winds out of the westnorthwest at 3 miles an hour. All over clouds in place, low clouds and gray clouds. Temperatures really mild for this time of year and day. 70s, so areas of fog, not too much as we move to the north and west. We are looking at reduced visibilities in lancaster. But to the south and east but looking better here than we did an hour ago. 7mile visibility and down to 2 miles in Atlantic City. And looking better in this picture too. We had these low clouds draping over the stadium. Still kind of graylooking soupy looking, but at least were seeing that fog lift across the area. This morning, the Oyster Creek Nuclear plant in new jersey remains closed. The plant shut down thursday after an electrical problem on the nonnuclear side of the problem. Oyster creek, by the way, supplies power to about 600,000 homes in ocean county. Right now, theres no word when the plant will be back online. Many College Graduates are getting ready to jump into the real world and experts say there are opportunities out there. Reporter close to 300 graduates of this class of 2015 are waiting to hear their name and receive their degree with aspirations in careers in the arts and scientists. I want to officially become a dentist. The future is wide open. Reporter pennsylvanias acting secretary of education encouraged these harcum College Graduates to pursue their dreams. This may be the best year for graduates thanes in the past 15 years. The National Association of colleges and employers reports employers are expected to boost hiring by 8. 3 over last year. Diane clauss is banking on that economic forecast. Shes raised three sons while working several jobs. Ive worked in the medical field and ive worked in Early Childhood education as well and i always wanted to be a nurse, so i thought i was going to go back to nursing school, but instead i found occupational therapy.
