The first is an accident in richland township blocking route 309 between tollgate road and station road. Take old bethlehem pike and in falls township an accident on the shoulder. At route 32 and Bridge Street and use caution there and watch out for a tap of the brake as drivers pass that scene. Heading out to 422 right near oaks. It is quiet and calm and no accidents and no delays to report there. That is a bit of good news for drivers in that area. Mass transit everything is on or close to schedule, no big delays to report. 5 31. Breaking news we have been following out of southeast asia. Where search crews have found victims and wreckage from the airasia plane that disappeared on sunday. We learned crewers spotted the outline of the plane under water and now they believe they actually found the plane itself. At first crews found pieces of wreckage like life jackets and doors and then they found bodies. So far 40 have been pulled on to a navy ship. When families of the victims learned about this discovery, they were understandably emotional breaking down in tears. This story continues to develop by the minute as they get more search crews out to the site. Well bring you new information as we get it. New from overnight, police in two counties are searching for one guy. Philadelphia police say between december 20th and 23rd a man with a gun robbed people at four Different Hotels in the city and twice at the quality inn and he may have gone back to that motel a third time late last night. Jesse gary is live outside the quality inn to tell us what happened. Jesse, tell us more. Yeah he came in with a gun and jumped the counter. Police have released compilation of Surveillance Video from several crimes hoping that someone will recognize the suspect and call them. Lets go ahead and take a look. This is mo from the most recent crime. Late last night here at the quality inn matches others captured in this video. Philadelphia police southwest detectives say this is the same man etch inin each case. The robber then runs off with cash, cell phone. Hes been reported to make his get away in a dark mercedes with tinted windows or a honda. Philadelphia detectives tell me that theyre checking if last nights crime is connected to the previous seven. And im also calling to see if they have any information about what vehicle he used to make his get away this time. Live in Delaware County jesse gary, nbc 10 news. Philadelphia police are searching for armed thieves who are targeting people walking alone near the septa transportation center. Police say there have been nine robberies near that septa station from december 22nd to the 29th. Patrols have been stepped up. Investigators say the gunmen strike when their targets are isolated. Came up behind me and pulled my hair and hit me in the back of the head with a gun. No septa anything there. Was nothing. There was nobody there. Now, both women say they are afraid to leave their homes, but they really wanted to warn others to prevent a tenth victim. 5 34. Happening later today, a Montgomery County mom accused of having sex in a park with a High School Student is expected in court for a preliminary hearing. They caught iris gibney having sex with a 17yearold. Investigators say gibney met the teen while volunteering for her daughters cheerleading squad. An accused sexual predator who targeted students at penn and drexel. 55yearold James Barrett was arrested earlier in december after officers say they caught him assaulting a penn grad student on the street. They think hes connected to four other attacks. Pennsylvania Supreme Court has thrown out a law that requires lifetime registration for juvenile sex offenders. The court ruled the law was unconstitutional. One of the justices said the court reviewed research that showed young sex offenders were less likely to offend than young adults. The ruling means any registered juveniles should be taken off that registry. A deadly shooting during a peace concert in philadelphia. Eric jamison is accused of killing alex on august 13th. Police think the two guys were fighting over a woman. We now have the description of the Vehicle Police are looking for in connection with a deadly hit and run in northeast philadelphia last week. Investigators now say theyre looking for a late 80s or early 90s model dark colored pickup truck and a truck hit theresa posy and witnesses said the driver was speeding. Well friends and family will mourn the death of a Camden County teenager who was killed in a crash on christmas eve. 17yearold anthony samoro was trying to walk across the road when he was hit by two cars according to police.
