New tonight, members of philadelphias Lgbt Community came together this evening to talk about solutions and share their stories after claims of racism. This has been an ongoing issue in the community after the owner of a popular lgbt bar came under fire last month for allegedly using racial slurs. Nbc 10s Brandon Hudson was at that meeting. There was a large turnout for this session tonight. Reporter jacqueline and jim, the crowd was so large, they had two overflow rooms to livestream this meeting. There was a lot of emotion in that crowd tonight. People, brown and black people, were frustrated, and they were sharing their frustrations basically because they say they feel discriminated against at the bars and clubs here in philadelphias neighborhood. They want to feel valued and want to hold those owners accountable to end that racism. I have faith in the youth in philadelphia who are black and brown that this will end. This new sur valts video shows the thieves in the act. The van pulls up and four people start snatching pumpkins from a farm stand. The family says the pumpkins were worth up to 3,000.
