New information about two Police Officers accused of killing a man in trenton, the officers shot and killed eric mcneil on hobart avenue on august 15th. The new Jersey Attorney Generals Office released a statement that the use of force by the officers was justified. The officers pulled up to the home after a Domestic Violence report. The officers say mcneil was on the porch and began shooting at them. At one point investigators say mcneil was standing over one of the officers with a gun when the officers shot him. Both were wounded by mcneil. They continue to recover. In about two hours, Funeral Services will begin for a south jersey middle schoolteacher killed in a car crash. Alison mcgillis worked at pembertons middle school. She was hit by a car while jogging in southampton township last week. She was on route 206.
