Were tracking some rain showers this afternoon, but colder air is going to be coming in starting tomorrow night. Setting us up for the weekend and by sunday its cold muff for snow. Across most of the area. We have cloudy skies across much of the region. 58 degrees, mild for this time of year. 58 in philadelphia, 59 in trenton. And weve seen temperatures go into the 60s in several parts of the area. Especially south. Wilmington is 60 now, dover 61. It was 67 degrees just an hour or so ago. So the temperature starting to come down. Only because its late in the day and theres showers around. Tomorrow, still on the mild side but then we take a plunge for saturday, a high of only 47. By sunday with snow falling during much of the day, that will prevent the temperature from going up very much. Staying in the 30s. You can see showers that weve had,on racings from west to eas across the area. Diminishing already. Becoming very light and even more widely scattered. More back to the west, but those two should be falling apart as the sun goes down. You can see this on the futurecast. As we go into tomorrow we start off dry again. Its a windy day, relatively mild day. Well watch what happens, we may see showers break out during the afternoon. Probably not as much as tift as what we saw today. Accumulating snow, likely during the day sunday and into sunday night. How much snow, a little too early to specific amounts for specific areas. But i want to give you an idea, the potential of this thing. Its a low potential of four inches or more at the shore. I think rain mixed in there. And a medium chance from the philly, i95 down to the south and east. This is down because of any potential melting and mixing with rain. If its all snow, more than four inches is a sure bet. And a high, high chance, all north and west of philadelphia of four inches or more. And then well get into more specifics as we get closer to the storm. But this has potential for significant accumulations. Showers and storms early, then clearing late, 44 for the low in philadelphia. During the day tomorrow, a windy day, gusts to 35, temperatures into the low 60s. And its dry. Saturday is dry as well. But much colder than sunday as the day with the snow. Monday, windy and cold, then by the middle of the week, snow is pretty much gone and spring is back. Looking forward to it. Thanks, glenn.
